    摘要: The present invention relates to a high pressure homogenizing apparatus and a method thereof for finely dividing a fine solid material or fibrous cellulose of chemical, medical, and resin products in a suspension as a dispersion or emulsification, or finely dividing by crushing cell membranes of fungi with high efficiency. The apparatus of the present invention is free from damage of valves so that its maintenance and control become easy. The high pressure homogenizing apparatus to finely divide a raw material in the suspension includes a high pressure homogenizing device having an orifice, a raw material receiving passage connected to the high pressure homogenizing device, a processing piston, and a processing recess disposed in a receiver. A front end of the processing piston is inserted into the processing recess with a pressure intensifier and a volume compression inside the processing recess pressurizes the suspension in the processing recess to lead the suspension into the raw material receiving passage for finely dividing the raw material.

    摘要: A high-pressure homogenizing apparatus, in which a material receiving recess can be easily cleaned without disassembling/assembling a pressurizing mechanism, is provided. The apparatus includes a high-pressure homogenizing mechanism (1) in which a suspension (2) or semisolid (2′) containing a raw material (G) is passed through the orifice (3) to be subdivided; and a material receiving passage (8) communicated with the high-pressure homogenizing mechanism (1). One of the inserting member (5) and the material processing piston (4) is moved relatively to each, thereby the suspension or semisolid including the raw material is transferred into the material receiving passage (8) so as to be subdivided and processed. When the material processing piston is moved back over open end (6a) of the material processing recess, the cleaning liquid (W) is introduced through the material receiving passage into the material processing recess and the inside of the material processing recess is cleaned.

An injection valve of the high pressure homogenizer includes: a fixed member having a material introducing passage therein; and a movable member disposed rotatably, swingably, or pulsatingly opposite to the fixed member in an axial direction of the fixed member. The orifice of the injection valve is made of a fine gap in a radial direction disposed between an end face of the fixed member facing an end of the material introducing passage and an end face of the movable member disposed at an end of the movable member opposed to the fixed member. The orifice communicates with a material processing passage via a ring-shaped collision wall.

The compressed base material is passed through an orifice at a high speed. The orifice includes a small clearance defined between (a) the end of the movable valve provided slidably and rotatably in the length direction inside of the cylinder case and (b) the opposing wall surface of the cylinder case. For dispersion, to emulsification, crushing, and subdivision of the base material, there is provided a heat exchange unit including continuous conduits through which a cooling medium can flow, the conduits extending over a desired length in the length direction about the orifice as a source of heat.
