    摘要: The invention relates to a homogenizing valve which comprises two or more pressurized, movable valve cones, two or more valve seats, and a valve housing which surrounds the valve cones and the valve seats. The valve cones and the valve seats are arranged such that between them are formed constrictions, which constitute homogenization gaps having a gap height h. Between each individual valve cone and each individual valve seat are formed two homogenization gaps, of which one homogenization gap is radially arranged and one homogenization gap is axially arranged. The homogenizing valve is intended for use in existing homogenizers and is especially produced to be able to acquire an effective homogenization for liquids which are processed at a lower pressure and with a large flow, such as pasteurized milk, for example.

    摘要: A high pressure homogenizer segmentalizes material made of minute solid or the like by passing suspension liquid including the material to a small diameter orifice at high speed under high pressure. An injection valve of the high pressure homogenizer includes: a fixed member having a material introducing passage therein; and a movable member disposed rotatably, swingably, or pulsatingly opposite to the fixed member in an axial direction of the fixed member. The orifice of the injection valve is made of a fine gap in a radial direction disposed between an end face of the fixed member facing an end of the material introducing passage and an end face of the movable member disposed at an end of the movable member opposed to the fixed member. The orifice communicates with a material processing passage via a ring-shaped collision wall.

    摘要: A carbonating apparatus includes an elongated carbonation chamber defining a longitudinal axis and having an inlet end and an outlet end. A manifold assembly is provided at the inlet end of the carbonation chamber. The manifold assembly includes a manifold body having an outlet end connected to the inlet end of the carbonation chamber and an inlet end. A liquid passage and a carbon dioxide passage extend in a direction between the inlet and outlet ends of the manifold body in communication with the inlet end of the carbonation chamber. At least one check valve is disposed inside the liquid passage within the manifold body. At least one check valve is disposed inside the carbon dioxide passage within the manifold body.

    摘要: An in-line agitating device for fluids includes an elongate internally-threaded cylindrical tube, open at each end, with a flow-disturber such as a round ball positioned inside the tube so as to substantially but not completely block off the bore of the tube. When a fluid is introduced into one end of the tube, its velocity increases as it is forced through the restricted space between the ball and the inner surface of the tube and then rapidly decelerates, causing turbulence which results in vigorous agitation of the fluid. This agitation is intensified by swirling action imparted to the fluid by the internal threading of the tube.

    摘要: A mixing apparatus and system therefor is disclosed in which two fluid materials are mixed or blended in which the components may vary in viscosity from 1 to 100,000 centipoise. Basically a material which is desired to be emulsified or blended is fed from a source under pressure to a mixing chamber where it is forced through an orifice between the face of an elastomeric plug and its seat and delivered into a turbulent area where the other material is being passed effectively around the periphery of the plug in a turbulent pathway. There is violent agitation caused by the contact between the two materials, one coming at a high velocity from an orifice action coupled to the breaking up of the materials through the turbulent action that produces excellent emulsification for mixing.
