    摘要: A method of reproducing an image file from a recording medium that stores an image file of a first type and/or an image file of a second type includes reproducing the first type of image file or second type of image file, detecting whether each of a predetermined number of image files stored on the recording medium is the first type of image file or the second type of image file during the reproduction of an image file, and converting the second type of image file to the first type of image file by reading the main image data from the second type of image file, generating display-image data (image data for display use) based on the read main image data, and storing the generated display-image data in the original image file if the image file is determined to be the second type of image file based on the detection result. The first type of image file is an image file containing a header, main image data, and display-image data, and storing the display-image data in an area other than an area storing the header. The second type of image file is an image file containing a header and main image data, and storing no display-image data in an area other than an area storing the header. The image files of predetermined number being image files that can be reproduced when reproduction is done in the forward and/or reverse direction from the image file being reproduced.

A transmission apparatus for video information according to the present invention has: an input part for inputting video information transmitted by a central processing unit; a level information generation part for generating level information of each pixel on a screen based on the video information; a memory part for storing level information of each pixel of the entire region of the screen; a comparison part for comparing level information stored in the memory part with level information outputted by the level information generation part with respect to said pixel associated with the video information and for outputting comparison information; a region extraction part for extracting a region that includes a pixel wherein the level information stored in the memory part and the level information based on the video information are different according to the comparison information; a compression part for compressing the information amount of the level information of each pixel of the extracted region of the screen; and a communication part for transmitting position information of the region of the screen and the compressed level information.

    摘要: A variable capacity refrigerant compressor has a rotating drive shaft, a plurality of single headed pistons reciprocating in respective cylinder bores for sucking, compressing and discharging refrigerant gas, a rotor element mounted on the drive shaft to be rotated with the drive shaft, a swash plate element engaged with the rotor element via a hinge unit and with the pistons via shoes, the swash plate element rotating with the rotor element and reciprocating the pistons. The swash plate changes its angle of inclination to vary the discharge capacity of the compressor, and the maximum angular position of inclination of the swash plate element is limited by an inclination limiting unit formed by a first contacting area formed in the rotor element, and a second contacting area formed in the swash plate so as to come into contact with the first contact area when the swash plate element reaches the maximum angle position of inclination. The second contacting area is formed in a suction actuating region of the swash plate element which is separated from a compression and discharge actuating region of the swash plate with respect to a line of inclination of the swash plate. The hinge unit has an engaging point between the swash plate element and the rotor element which is located in the compression and discharge region of the swash plate element with respect to the line of inclination of the swash plate element.
