摘要: In a thermostat type operating temperature setting apparatus, a slider is employed to preset the operating temperatures of electric appliances by sliding the slider along a long sliding path. The operating temperature setting apparatus includes a frame, a converter for converting temperature changes into pressure variations, a thermostat switching member for selectively changing bistable switching positions in response to the pressure variations, a rod for adjusting the operating temperature, a tension spring coupled between the adjusting rod and the switching member, for biasing the adjusting rod in a first direction, a slider, and a cam lever pivotably journaled to a fulcrum fixed on the frame and connected to the adjusting rod, for being slidably in touch with the slider. The setting apparatus further includes a conical compression spring mounted on the adjusting rod, for biasing the adjusting rod in a second direction opposite to the first direction. Accordingly, the slider is slidable on the long sliding path with the substantially same sliding force over the long sliding path.

摘要: In a process for producing isopropyl alcohol by direct liquid phase hydration of propylene and water in the presence of a strong acid solid catalyst at a high temperature and a high pressure, the reaction is carried out at a temperature in a ranging between 100.degree. and 250.degree. C. and a pressure in a ranging between 60 and 200 atm in an excess of water. Then, a liquid phase of the reaction product is contacted with an extraction agent of a saturated hydrocarbon having 3 or 4 carbon atoms at a temperature in a ranging between the critical temperature of the extraction agent and the temperature higher than the critical temperature by 40.degree. C. under a pressure ranging between the critical pressure of the extraction agent and 200 atm at an S/F ratio ranging between 0.3 and 3 which is calculated from the equation of the amount of the extraction agent divided by the amount of the extract feed. Finally, after isopropyl alcohol is extracted from the liquid phase, it is separated from the resultant extract phase thus obtained. According to this process, the energy required for concentrating isopropyl alcohol is reduced, and also large-scale production facilities are not necessary.

摘要: A resin molding apparatus includes a fixing member to which a top mold is attached, a movable member to which a bottom mold is attached, a push-up member provided below the movable member, a drive mechanism moving the push-up member in upward/downward direction, and a flexible joint provided between the movable member and the push-up member. The push-up force of the drive mechanism is transmitted from the push-up member via the flexible joint to the movable member. Thus, a crack does not occur at a connection portion between the push-up member and the movable member. Therefore, a gap is not created between the top mold and the bottom mold. As a result, an excellent molded product is formed.

摘要: In a motor driving device, the currents supplied from a driver (3) to three-phase coils (2) of a motor are made to flow through a resistor (R), and the voltage appearing across this resistor (R) is fed to the positive input terminal of a current limiting circuit (8). The differential signal between this voltage and a voltage (V) fed to the negative input terminal of the current limiting circuit (8) is fed as a voltage signal to an OR circuit (9). Also an FG signal produced by a logic circuit (5) to represent the rotational speed of the motor is fed, through a speed discriminator (6) and a filter (7), as a voltage signal to the OR circuit (9). The OR circuit (9) feeds a voltage signal having a high level to a PWM comparator (11), which produces a PWM signal and feeds it to the logic circuit (5). Thus, when the currents supplied to the three-phase coils (2) are about to exceed a limit, the currents are limited so as not to exceed the limit by the voltage signal output from the current limit circuit (8). When the currents supplied to the three-phase coils (2) are within the limit, the rotation speed of the motor is kept at a predetermined value by the voltage signal output from the filter (7) through control based on pulse-width modulation.
