    摘要: An apparatus for supplying power to a peripheral device of a computer directly from the system power supply is disclosed. An expansion interface connector or a standard interface connector is used for providing power to the peripheral device. Either one or two electronic switching devices control the supply of power to the interface connector. A voltage output line, a control line and a ground line are connected to three pins of the interface connector. The peripheral device has a matched connector comprising three pins corresponding to the three pins of the interface connector. The peripheral device can be powered up and in operation when it is connected to the interface connector. A short protection mechanism is provided to avoid damaging the computer system when the peripheral device is not connected.

    摘要: An elastic sheet structure for the contact of a battery set used in a portable computer is provided. It comprises a positive-end elastic sheet and a negative-end elastic sheet having a central hole thereon. The size of the positive-end elastic sheet is smaller than that of the central hole of the negative-end elastic sheet. This invention may assemble several electric cells into a complete battery set for a portable computer. The special design avoids damaging the portable computer due to the misplacement of the positive end and the negative end of the electric cells of the battery set. It also provides a simple and convenient way to assemble the battery set.

    摘要: A mobile computer with a desktop type processor. The mobile computer further includes a battery, a current sensor, and a clock generator. The battery supplies a current to the desktop type processor. The current sensor is coupled to the battery, and detects a value of the current supplied by the battery. When the value of the current achieves a standard value, the current sensor outputs a change signal. The clock generator is coupled to the current sensor and the desktop type processor respectively, and outputs a clock signal to the desktop type processor based on the change signal from the current sensor so as to change an operational frequency of the desktop type processor and the current supplied by the battery.

    摘要: A USB connector cable includes a main cable having four separately formed wires, namely, a voltage wire, a first data transmission wire, a second data transmission wire and a ground wire, and a power cable having a voltage wire and a ground wire which are integrally and respectively formed with the voltage wire and the ground wire of the main cable. An electronic device is suitable to connect with a peripheral device and includes a circuit board, an interface and a load switch. The interface outputs a first current and at least one data signal to the peripheral device and the interface complying with a computer related standard defining a first current threshold. The interface located on said circuit board. The load switch connects to the interface and runs a second current to said interface. The load switch converts into a disconnected state while a value of the second current is excess than a second current threshold. The second current threshold is higher than the first current threshold, and the interface and the load switch are conductive under the second current threshold.
