    Abstract: A bicycle part includes a housing and a lid. The housing includes an inner peripheral portion, an outer peripheral portion, an end wall portion and a connecting portion. The outer peripheral portion is spaced radially outward from the inner peripheral portion with respect to a center axis of the enclosed area. The end wall portion interconnects the inner peripheral portion and the outer peripheral portion to at least partly define an internal space. The connecting portion interconnects the inner peripheral portion and the outer peripheral portion. The lid overlies the internal space. The lid is welded to the inner peripheral portion along an inner weld path and the outer peripheral portion along an outer weld path. The lid is further welded to at least part of the connecting portion of the housing a connecting weld path connecting the inner weld path and the outer weld path.

    Abstract: A bicycle transmission is basically provided with an input gear a plurality of second rotating bodies, a second shaft and a clutch mechanism. The input gear receives a drive force. The rotation of the input gear is transmitted the second rotating bodies. The second shaft is coaxially provided with a plurality of second rotating bodies and rotatably supports the second rotating bodies. The clutch mechanism is provided with a control shaft disposed inside the second shaft and which is rotatable relative to the second shaft. The clutch mechanism switches the coupling state between the second rotating bodies and the second shaft by rotating the control shaft relative to the second shaft. The clutch mechanism rotates the control shaft by transmitting the drive force that is applied to the input gear to the control shaft.

    Abstract: A bicycle shifting device includes a first transmission unit, a second transmission unit, a coupling member and a release unit. The first transmission unit includes a first rotational body, to which human power is transmitted. The second transmission unit includes a second rotational body coupled to the first rotational body and a rotational shaft rotatably supporting the second rotational body. The coupling member is movable relative to the second rotational body in an axial direction of the rotational shaft and configured to couple the second rotational body and the rotational shaft so that the human power transmitted from the first transmission unit is transmitted to the rotational shaft through the second rotational body. The release unit uncouples the second rotational body from the rotational shaft by moving the coupling member in the axial direction using the human power transmitted from the first transmission unit.

    Abstract: An internal transmission is basically arranged with a hub shaft which is attachable to a bicycle frame, a first shaft which is separate from the hub shaft and which is non-rotatable around the hub shaft, and a second shaft which is separate from the hub shaft and from the first shaft and which is non-rotatable around the hub shaft. The internal transmission has a plurality of first rotating bodies which are coaxially rotatable around the first shaft, and a plurality of second rotating bodies which are coupled to each of the first rotating bodies, and which are coaxially rotatable around the axis of the second shaft. The internal transmission has a clutch mechanism which controls at least one of the rotation state of the first rotating body and the rotation state of the second rotating body, and a hub shell which is rotated around the hub shaft.
