摘要： In a digital signal recording apparatus it is possible to input plural kinds of digital information signals having different bit rates from one another. Recording is performed for each data block which includes a predetermined amount of data which includes main data corresponding to the digital information. The ratio of the main data within the data block is switched in accordance with each kind of digital information signal.

摘要： A signal recording apparatus, for recording a TV signal in which an audio signal such as a MUSE signal and a video signal are multiplexed in a time sharing manner in units of a given period of time, is arranged to code these video and audio signals alike, to dispersively allocate a discretely separated audio signal within the video signal, and to provide symbols other than the symbols the audio and video signals within each of synchronizing block for the purpose of permitting the use of other video signal recording apparatuses. The arrangement permits simplification and high-quality of the apparatus for recording the signals of this kind and thus contributes to the popularization of the apparatus.

摘要： In an audio mirror speaker, an uneven area is formed on a planar mirror surface and a directivity distribution is controlled by changing a relative position of a diaphragm facing the mirror surface and the mirror. The directivity distribution of such a speaker is determined by a radius of curvature of the uneven area. Since the directivity changes with various movements of the planar mirror, a freedom in setting the directivity distribution is enhanced.

摘要： An apparatus for reproducing signals from a multiplicity of parallel tracks in a recording medium by means of n number of rotary heads, n being an integer not less than 3. A transportation device for transporting the recording medium is controlled on the basis of two kinds of signal: namely, a tracking control signal for leading one of the n number of rotary heads to one of m number of tracks contained in consecutive n number of tracks, m being an integer not less than 2; and a track shift signal which is generated in accordance with the result of a determination as to whether the n number of rotary heads are tracing expected tracks and which enable the tracks under tracing to be shifted to obtain a predetermined relationship between the sequence of the n number of rotary heads and the sequence of the tracks traced by these rotary heads.

摘要： In an image display method and apparatus for displaying image data, it is determined, based upon a control code contained in received image data, whether the image data is whole image data in one frame or partial image data in one frame. When it is determined that the image data is partial image data, the content of a memory being displayed is transferred to another memory, and the partial image data is stored in the memory which is the destination of the transfer. When the transfer of the data to the memory which is the destination of the transfer ends, the content of this memory is read and displayed.

A record/reproducing device is provided for recording the compressed information on a recording medium, and reproducing the compressed information from the recording medium. Transmission circuitry is provided for transmitting the compressed information reproduced from the record/reproducing device to a transmission channel without expanding the compressed information. An information expansion circuit is then provided for expanding the compressed information which has been transmitted through the transmission channel in order to reproduce the digital information.
