    摘要: A pin slide mechanism 3 comprises a pair of support portions 23, 24 on a carrier 1 secured to a non-rotating portion of a vehicle. A support portion 24 provided on a tip end of an arm 28 extends from the carrier 1 inwardly of the vehicle. By slidably fitting a cylindrical portion 27 provided on a caliper body 2 via a sleeve 26 onto a pin portion 25a of a pin/bolt 25, the caliper body 2 is secured to the support portions 23, 24. The caliper has an increased weight by containing an electrically-driven device therein, and is supported by the support portions 23, 24 in a straddle-mounted fashion to prevent inclination of the caliper during braking.

    摘要: A valve body 2 is connected to a power piston, which divides a housing into a constant pressure chamber (negative pressure) and a variable pressure chamber. In the valve body 2, there is provided a brake assisting mechanism 10 between a reaction disk 3 and a plunger 9. A poppet seal 12 is opened by movement of the plunger 9, to thereby introduce atmospheric air into the variable pressure chamber and generate a thrust force in the power piston. During rapid braking, a plunger rod 23 advances relative to a sleeve 21, and balls 30 shift outward and the plunger rod 23 directly abuts against a reaction rod 22, resulting in contraction of the brake assisting mechanism 10. Therefore, the amount of movement of the plunger 9 can be increased without being affected by a reaction force from the reaction disk 3, thus enabling rapid development of servo power.

    摘要: An improved heat-insulating support device is disclosed which is capable of supporting a coolant tank to a vacuum vessel in a manner such that when the vacuum tank is subjected to a great external force after the coolant tank has been cooled down to a cryogenic temperature, the coolant tank and hence cryogenic equipment mounted thereon are held in place and prevented from being displaced beyond a prescribed allowable range, without impairing the intended heat-insulating capability thereof. The heat-insulating support device comprises a heat insulating support member disposed outside the coolant tank with one end connected with the coolant tank; a mounting rod having one end connected with the heat-insulating support member and its other end projected outwardly through the vacuum vessel; and a spring for resiliently mounting the other projected end portion of the mounting rod on the vacuum vessel, the spring having a non-linear spring characteristic including a small spring constant for mainly absorbing thermal contraction of the coolant tank and a large spring constant for mainly suppressing displacement of the coolant tank due to large external forces acting thereon after the thermal contraction of the coolant tank.
