摘要: A planar illumination light source apparatus comprises: a point light source having strong directivity; a casing having a bottom surface section with a hole for attaching the point light source, and side surface reflection sections perpendicularly provided from edge sides of the bottom surface section; a light transmitting reflection plate facing the bottom surface section and supported by the side surface reflection sections; and a diffusion plate provided so as to be opposed to a surface of the light transmitting reflection plate that is far from the point light source. The light transmitting reflection plate is formed so as to have a higher light transmissivity and lower light reflectivity as being farther away from the point light source. A light emitter is attached to a region irradiated with radiation light from the point light source.

摘要: A printing apparatus and print control apparatus acquire apparatus information required to specify each other's apparatuses by exchanging them. An information processing apparatus determines with reference to a database which stores data to be set in a printer driver and information indicating acquisition source of the data in association with each other whether data to be set in the printer driver is acquired from the printing apparatus or print control apparatus. The information processing apparatus acquires data from the determined printing apparatus or print control apparatus and causes the acquired data to be reflected in the settings of the printer driver.

摘要: [Purpose] To provide a surface illumination fixture using a point light source having strong directivity.[Constitution] In the surface illumination fixture 3 including a surface illumination light-source device 6 converting light from a plurality of point light sources 36 having strong directivity into surface illumination and an illumination fixture main body 41, the surface illumination light-source device 6 includes a casing 30 having a flat plate part 35 being used to attach the surface illumination light-source device to the illumination fixture main body, lateral plate parts standing from the flat plate part, and an opening on a surface opposite to the flat plate part, and includes a light-guide reflection plate covering the opening. The flat plate part 35, the lateral plate parts 32 and 33, and the light-guide reflection plate 40 are formed by members having a high light reflectance and a low light transmittance. The light-guide reflection plate 40 is formed to have a lower light reflectance and a higher light transmittance as the distance from the corresponding point light source increases. The illumination fixture main body 41 having attaching means for attachment to a ceiling or a wall.

摘要: The device of the present invention manages changes in the construction of a storage system in a unified manner, and optimally disposes resources. The servers are logically divided into a plurality of virtual servers, the switches are logically divided into a plurality of zones, and the storage devices are logically divided into a plurality of virtual storage devices. The respective logical devices are respectively managed by respective managing parts. These respective managing parts are connected to a managing device via a network used for management. The managing device re-disposes resources in application program units on the basis of the load states of the respective resources in the storage system.

摘要: The printing order is controlled so that printouts are obtained from an image forming apparatus in the order in which the printing client transmitted print jobs. For this purpose, a print job received by the image forming apparatus is captured at the communication packet level and the date & time of starting reception of the print job is managed in a job list. When a print job of interest is input to a print queue manager, it is determined whether there is a previously input job, reception of which has not completed. If so, the previously input job is waited, and when the previously input job is input entirely, the previously input job is registered in a print queue. Subsequently, the print job of interest is registered in the print queue.

摘要: A technique that can efficiently achieve migration of a configuration and data between storage units with varying constructions of configuration information and that can alleviate burdens of personal operation by an administrator, etc. With the configuration information of each storage unit controlled by the storage control server, based on each piece of configuration information, the transfer-source configuration information is converted into information necessary for establishing the logical partition configuration of a storage unit which has the transfer-destination logical partition function. The information prepared by the conversion is transmitted to the transfer-destination storage unit and the configuration with the transfer-source logical configuration set as the transfer-destination logical partition is updated in the transfer-destination storage unit. After the migration of the configuration, the data is migrated using a remote copy function of carrying out data copy between the transfer-source and transfer-destination logical devices.
