An example component includes a substrate comprising at least a portion of a pressure vessel. The substrate defines a contoured exterior surface of the pressure vessel. The component includes a pre-sintered preform (PSP) reinforcement formed on the surface of the substrate by brazing, wherein the PSP reinforcement comprises a low-melt powder and a high-melt powder.

摘要: Provided is a pressure-resistant container that allows a time required for winding a fiber-reinforced member on both a tubular barrel portion and dome portions of a container body to be shortened. A pressure-resistant container includes: a container body having a tubular barrel portion, and dome portions that are provided integrally on both end portions, respectively, in an axial direction, of the tubular barrel portion; and a fiber-reinforced member that covers an outer surface of the container body. The fiber-reinforced member includes a first fiber sheet that is formed from fibers oriented in one direction, and that has a fiber direction in which the fibers extend such that the fiber direction is tilted relative to the axial direction of the container body at such an angle as to cover both the dome portions, on both sides in the axial direction, of the container body. The first fiber sheet has a sheet body portion formed in a sheet-like shape, and a plurality of protruding portions that are aligned on and protrude from both end portions, in a fiber direction, of the sheet body portion. The sheet body portion is wound along an outer surface of the tubular barrel portion to cover the tubular barrel portion. The protruding portions are wound back along outer surfaces of the dome portions to cover the dome portions.

The cap includes a cylindrical protrusion having the supply/discharge hole formed therein. An opening is formed in the reinforced layer to expose the protrusion. The isolation wall member encloses the protrusion and the opening, and forms a closed space. The communication unit communicates with the closed space.

One embodiment of the cryogenic hydrogen storage vessel includes an outer vacuum vessel; a hump-shaped reinforcement ring on the outer vacuum vessel, the hump-shaped reinforcement ring including an external hump portion that protrudes from the hump-shaped reinforcement ring and an internal recess in the hump-shaped reinforcement ring; an inner pressure vessel inside of the outer vacuum vessel, a vacuum space between the outer vacuum vessel and the inner pressure vessel, and a composite support ring in the vacuum space extending from the hump-shaped reinforcement ring on the outer vacuum vessel to the inner pressure vessel, the composite support ring nested in the recess in the hump-shaped reinforcement ring.

摘要: A fiber reinforced polymer matrix composite structure includes a glass fiber layer and a carbon fiber layer in a cured resin. The glass fiber layer and the carbon fiber layer are laminated and present in a thickness direction of the structure. Two outermost layers of the fiber reinforced polymer matrix composite structure including the glass fiber layer and the carbon fiber layer are both the glass fiber layer. In the structure, a volume fraction of carbon fibers with respect to a total volume of glass fibers and carbon fibers is 0.67 or more.
