    摘要: A connector includes sheet metal contacts (40, 42) with termination ends (60, 62) for terminating to wires and with mating ends (70, 72) for mating to other contact devices such as circuit board pads. Each terminating end includes a wide groove part (90) with a groove bottom (94) that receives the wire insulation and with a pair of wide groove part wings (96, 98) that are crimped around the insulation. Each termination end also includes a narrow groove part (100) for receiving a bared conductor of the wire, the narrow groove part having a bottom (104) that is offset from the wide groove part bottom (94), and the narrow groove part having a pair of narrow groove part wings (106, 108) that are crimped around the wire conductor. The mating end of each contact forms a resilient end beam (120) with a straight beam middle (124) that extends at an incline (B) away from the front face (22) of a connector frame (36), the end beam having an outer end (146) connected by an outer bend (152) to a beam free outer portion (150). The beam free outer portion extends at an angle (C) of less than 135° to the beam middle, as measured at the inside of the outer bend. A spherical bump (130) is formed at the outer end of the beam middle.

    摘要: A two-stage fluid pressure control valve has five components. An inlet socket with separate fluid flow orifices sealably engages an outlet socket which also has separate fluid flow orifices. A pressure check piston having a fluid flow orifice along its longitudinal central axis slidably engages the inlet socket and the outlet socket. A spring located along the central axis of the outlet socket biases the pressure check piston in an open position, allowing fluid to flow through all orifices. Fluid flow through the control valve may impact the pressure check piston to overcome the spring force, moving the pressure check piston to a closed position, whereby fluid flows only through the orifice in the pressure check piston.

    摘要: A dry suction fitting assembly is provided for drawing water from a spa, whirlpool bathtub or other suitable water tub to a pump, featuring a suction body for arranging in relation to a wall of the spa, whirlpool bathtub or other suitable water tub. The suction body is arranged in relation to a wall of the spa, whirlpool bathtub or other suitable water tub, has a suction inlet for coupling to the pump, and has an internal surface with an equilibrium tube arranged therein with three openings, a first opening that acts as a water flow inlet, a second opening that is open to the atmosphere via a connection hose or other suitable connection device and that is filled with water during normal operation, and a third opening that is a safety orifice coupled to the suction inlet. During normal operation water flows from the first opening, through the equilibrium tube, and out the third opening. During a blockage when water stops flowing through the suction body to the suction inlet and water pressure decreases, water in the equilibrium tube evacuates out the third opening, and air is drawn from the atmosphere through the second opening and out the third opening, causing the pump to cavitate so the blockage may be removed.

    摘要: A laminar flow waterfall in the form of a single or multiple streams of water, each exiting from a nozzle in the top edge of a spa. The laminar water stream is created by a venturi nozzle located in a plenum chamber. The inlet side of the nozzle has a cover with a plurality of small holes forcing the water flow to enter the nozzle as laminar flow. A flow divider inside the venturi nozzle, from the inlet to the restriction of the nozzle, maintains the flow laminar through the nozzle. Light is injected into the flow divider at the inlet and is carried by the flow divider to be injected into the water flow at the restriction of the nozzle.
