    摘要: A coating composition having a total solids content of at least about 85 wt. %, based on the weight of the composition, a volatile organic chemical content of less than about 15 wt. %, based on the weight of the composition and a Brookfield viscosity of about 500-2,000 centipoises at 25.degree. C. The composition contains a polyester polyol having a weight average molecular weight of about 300-900 and a hydroxy number of about 150-400; at least one thermosettable polyester; an alkoxy aminoplast resin; a reactive diluent present in an amount of 0-30 wt. %, based on the weight of the composition; and an acid catalyst curing agent.

    摘要: Rapid thermosetting, low VOC web offset lithographic inks are prepared in the instant invention from solid resin, drying oil alkyds, bodied drying oil, vegetable oil, fatty acids, multifunctional unsaturated polyester, reducing agents and transition metal salts of organic acids. The aqueous lithographic fountain solution contains hydroperoxides or peroxides which promote free radical polymerization of the ink in contact therewith. The metal salts of organic acids function as crosslinking agents in combination with excess carboxylic acid functionality of the ink. Optionally, the reducing agent and the organic hydroperoxide or peroxide may be interchanged.

    摘要: Homogeneous molded one and two-piece golf balls exhibiting, improved compression and fracture strength while maintaining desired rebound, click and feel required in a golf ball, are disclosed. The core of the golf ball is obtained by curing a composition comprising: (a) 100 parts by weight, of a polybutadiene elastomer containing at least 40% cis-1, 4-unsaturation; (b) from about 10 to about 50 parts, by weight, of a coagent comprising (i) an admixture or a reaction product of a polyvalent metal salt of an unsaturated carboxylic acid and an active hydrogen-containing organic filler or (ii) a reaction product obtained by the reaction of unsaturated carboxylic acid with an active hydrogen-containing organic filler, followed by further reaction with a polyvalent metal compound in the presence of said unsaturated carboxylic acid whereby said coagent functions as a crosslinking agent with the polybutadiene elastomer; (c) from about 10 to 30 parts, by weight, of an inert particulate mineral filler; and (d) from about 0.5 to 10 parts, by weight, of a polymerization initiator.
