摘要:
A Digital Guide System (DGS) assembles and delivers contextual, narrative content information to an end-user requiring a guided or self-guided tour of a physical space. DGS consists of a Content Management System application (CMS), a Channel Administration application (CA), a Content Repository (CR) and a Channel Device application (CDA). CMS allows developers to build content information in discrete narratives using a modular story-building methodology. The CMS stores all information relevant to editorial control and content development in the CR. The CA is a browser-based registration and device management application that delivers content information to devices in channels designated for that content information by the CMS. The CDA allows the user to navigate through the content information using the modular story based organization and collects usage information in a user log for transmittal to the CA.

The present invention provides a method that increases screen space of a computing device by using semi-transparent functional areas that overlap non-functional content areas on the screen. This method allows for relatively large functional targets on the screen—thus mitigating the usability problems associated with tiny buttons and other images—while also allowing the underlying content on the screen to be clearly visible. A main design feature of this invention is that two functional areas are never allowed to overlap. An overlap condition would cause user confusion as to which layer is active. Instead, the interface is designed to foreground functionality in all instances.

The present invention provides a compound having the structure: ##STR1## wherein R is a branched or unbranched C1-C30 alkyl or alkenyl; or a branched or unbranched C1-C30 alkyl or alkenyl substituted with S, O, N, P, SO.sub.2, F, C1, Br, or I, wherein S, O, N, P, or SO.sub.2 replaces at least one --CH.sub.2 --, and F, Cl, Br, or I replaces at least one H. The present invention also provides a pharmaceutical composition comprising the compound above, as well as a method for treating a mycobacterial disease or infection in a subject in need of such treatment by administering to the subject an effective amount of the compound above.

Inha enzyme crystals and methods of growing said crystals are presented. Three crystal forms of the Inha enzyme with discrete unit cell parameters were obtained. The crystals of the Inha enzyme are of sufficient size and quality for x-ray crystallographic determination of the three dimensional structure of the Inha enzyme in concert with heavy atom derivatives of said crystals. With the three dimensional structure of the Inha enzyme, compounds which inhibit the biochemical activity of the Inha enzyme may be developed.

Disclosed herein is a traction device for providing traction to a tracked vehicle, in accordance with some embodiments. Accordingly, the traction device comprises a grouser bar, a down plate, a bottom plate, a pressure plate, and a bolt. Further, the grouser bar comprises a traction element comprised in a top surface of the grouser bar. Further, the traction element is configured to interface with a surface for providing traction for the track on the surface. Further, the down plate is attached to the grouser bar. Further, the bottom plate is attached to the down plate. Further, the pressure plate is movably disposed between the grouser bar and the bottom plate. Further, the bolt is movably coupled with the pressure plate. Further, the bolt is configured for moving the pressure plate between positions in relation to the bottom plate based on an action receivable on a second end of the bolt.

Methods of identifying an acetyltransferase substrate in a sample are provided. Also provided are methods of localizing acetylation of an acetyltransferase substrate in a cell. Additionally, methods of labeling a protein substrate of an acetyltransferase are provided, as are methods of assaying an acetyltransferase in a sample. Methods of quantifying acetyltransferase activity in a sample are further provided. Compositions provided include halo-acetyl-pantetheine, halo-acetyl-pantetheine with a label, and halo-acetyl-CoA with a label on the adenine of the CoA.

Nonwoven wet-lay flame barrier of the invention comprises a blend of water dispersible fibers, that are inherently fire resistant and nonshrinking to direct flame, along with water dispersible fibers extruded from polymers made with halogenated monomers and optionally including fiberglass and wood pulp, being together thermally bonded with a binder resin in a wet-lay manufacturing process to provide a relatively thin, but dense, durable flame barrier with excellent tensile, and durability properties in the end use application. The wet-lay flame barrier of this invention also allows for the manufacture of open flame resistant composite articles, while also permitting the continued use of conventional non-flame retardant dress cover fabrics, conventional non-flame retardant fiberfills and conventional non-flame retardant polyurethane foams.
