    Abstract: A surface cover having a polarized adhesive material bonded or operably connected to at least a portion of a substrate. The polarized adhesive material may be a hot melt adhesive material. The substrate may have little or no electret capabilities. The electrostatic charge of the polarized adhesive material may allow the surface cover to be removed from a mounting surface for positional adjustment during the application of the surface cover to the mounting surface. Once at its desired location, and/or aligned with the patterns, characters, or images on an adjacent surface cover, the polarized adhesive material may be activated. The adhesive force provided by the activated polarized adhesive material may provide a sufficient force for adhering surface cover along the mounting surface, thereby malting the dissipation or loss of electrostatic charge inconsequential to the ability of the surface cover to remain at its desired position along the mounting surface.

    Abstract: A multiple fold product includes a relatively rigid substrate, such as paperboard, which has upper and lower surfaces. Slots are selectively cut into the substrate at the desired fold locations. The slots divide the substrate into an array of interconnected rectangular sections that are arranged in horizontal rows and vertical columns and which are interconnected by tabs. A first transparent, flexible sheet of material is mounted on the upper surface of the substrate. The first sheet of material has selected intelligence reverse printed on its lower surface such that the printed material is interposed between the substrate and the first sheet of material when the first sheet of transparent material is mounted on the substrate. A second transparent, flexible sheet of material is mounted on the lower surface of the substrate. The second sheet of material has selected intelligence reverse printed on its upper surface such that the printed material is interposed between the substrate and the second sheet of material when the second sheet of material is mounted on the substrate. Layers of opaque material interposed between the sheets of material and the substrate.

    Abstract: In accordance with on aspect of the present invention a method is provided for making life-sized decals of an original figure. A photographic image of the figure is processed to create a digitized image containing the color information and overall shape of the photographic image. The digitized image is developed into a film negative image which is substantially the same size as the original figure. Registration marks are added to the film negative image to form registration lines in proximity to proposed joints. The film negative image is divided into image sections which overlap along the registration lines. The image sections are printed onto a clear medium removably laminated to a backing sheet. The image sections can be removed from the backing sheet and overlapped along the registration lines to reconstruct the original figure in life-size proportions.
