摘要： A method and apparatus for simplifying a structure needed to delay data in delay units when a reference signal and data are transmitted by using chaotic signals are provided. The method includes delaying data by at least two delay times, wherein each of the delay times occurs sequentially; multiplexing the data, which has been delayed, according to a control signal; and transmitting the data and a reference signal which corresponds to the data at an interval of delay time. The apparatus includes a first delay unit which is configured to delay data for a first delay time; a second delay unit which is configured to delay the data output from the first delay unit for a second delay time; and a multiplexer which is configured to multiplex the data from the first and second delay units according to a control signal.

摘要： A communication apparatus using a chaotic signal and a method thereof are provided. The communication apparatus includes a correlator which multiplies source data by one of an optical orthogonal code (OOC) and a prime sequence code (PSC), and outputs transmission data, a transmission signal generating unit which generates a chaotic transmission signal by masking the transmission data with respect to a chaotic signal, and an antenna which transmits the chaotic transmission signal. As a result, multiple accesses are enabled, and a wireless communication system for short-distance operation, which is economic and low power-consuming, is provided.

Power is maintained without changing the bandwidth of a communication signal when the communication signal is modulated.

摘要： Apparatus and method for decoding a Space-Time Block Coded (STBC) signal. The decoding apparatus includes a channel estimator for estimating a real equivalent channel based on a coded signal; a channel converter for decomposing the real equivalent channel to a unit matrix and a subchannel; a receive signal converter for converting the coded signal to a real equivalent receive signal and converting the real equivalent receive signal to a converted receive signal based on the unit matrix; and a detector for detecting an estimate of a transmit signal by performing a maximum likelihood decoding using the converted receive signal and the subchannel. Since the transmit signal candidates are independent of each other, the complexity of the maximum likelihood decoding can be decreased. With the lowered complexity of the receiver, the power consumption for the decoding can be reduced and the high-speed data can be transmitted more easily in the actual mobile communication environment.

摘要： A parallel coupled line filter is miniaturized by using lumped capacitors and grounding the capacitors. The parallel coupled line filter includes a parallel coupled line, a first capacitor connected to one of two input ports of the parallel coupled line, and a second capacitor connected to one of two output ports of the parallel coupled line. The parallel coupled filter can be miniaturized to a desirable size, on the basis of relatively simple theoretical knowledge. The parallel coupled line filter exhibits excellent frequency selectivity and improved harmonic characteristics.
