    摘要: A system for personal Internet protocol (IP) broadcasting to which a personal digital rights management (DRM) is applied, and a method thereof are provided. The system for personal IP broadcasting includes: a personal broadcasting transmission unit generating content, storing the content, applying personal DRM encryption to the content, and transmitting the content; a personal broadcasting reception unit receiving the transmitted content, DRM-decoding the content based on a personal DRM certificate corresponding to the content, and reproducing the content; a channel management unit allocating a channel through which the personal broadcasting transmission unit transmits broadcasting, then managing the channel, and transmitting information of a predetermined broadcasting transmission unit requested by the personal broadcasting reception unit; and an authentication server unit verifying validity of each of the personal broadcasting transmission unit and the personal broadcasting reception unit, and issuing and managing the personal DRM certificate. According to the system and method, DRM is applied to the content authored and broadcast by an individual person, thereby enabling the person to claim digital rights. Accordingly, illegal copying of the personal broadcasting content can be prevented and only authenticated users can use the service, thereby preventing broadcasting of inappropriate content or illegal use of the service by an unauthorized user.

    摘要: Provided are a fast channel change apparatus based on multiple multicasts communication in an IPTV network, and a method thereof. In the fast channel change system, after separately generating at least one multicast stream obtained by applying different time delays respectively to original multicast stream to be broadcast, a channel server dynamically analyzes information regarding the at least one multicast stream. After querying the channel server for information regarding an optimal multicast stream and receiving the response to the query, a user terminal joins a multicast group on the optimal multicast stream through a router. After a predetermined time is elapsed, the user terminal joins a multicast group of the original multicast stream. Thus, it is possible to easily and inexpensively embody a fast channel change function network based on multiple multicasts communication in an IPTV network.

    摘要: A method of fabricating a dispersion shifted optical fiber with a smooth annular ring refractive index profile has the steps of heating a quartz tube with an external oxygen or hydrogen burner and supplying the quartz tube with raw materials including SiCl.sub.4, GeCl.sub.4, POCl.sub.3 and CF.sub.4. O.sub.2 is later supplied. Then, the quartz tube is heated in nine passes of decreasing temperature from 1920.degree. C. to 1890.degree. C., so as to deposit a core section. In the nine passes, the quantity of SiCl.sub.4 feed flow decreases from 380 milligrams per minute to 260 milligrams per minute, the quantity of GeCl.sub.4 feed flow increases from 20 milligrams per minute to 195 milligrams per minute, and the quantity of O.sub.2 feed flow is kept constant at 1500 cubic centimeters per minute.

The adjoiner has passages that provide an inlet for receiving a flow of gas, a channel in which the flow of gas generates a reduced pressure region, and a suction tube for extending the reduced pressure region to the interior space of the overcladding tube, whereby fusing of the overcladding tube to the primary optical fiber preform is achieved during the drawing operation.
