    摘要: Efficient techniques to signal codebook subset restriction bit maps are provided. In some embodiments, a method of operation of a node of a cellular communications network includes determining a codebook restriction for a wireless device. The codebook restriction reduces a full codebook of the wireless device to a reduced codebook. The method also includes providing the codebook restriction to the wireless device with an indication of one or more ranks to which the codebook restriction applies. In some embodiments, this enables reduced signaling overhead from upper layers, improving the throughput of data traffic channels. This may also enable reduced RRC signaling message failures and also reduced latency.

    摘要: A mechanism for identifying a low performing radio branch at a radio transceiver device. A method is performed by the radio transceiver device that comprises transmitting a reference signal for at least some of the N radio branches in a respective test period. The reference signal in each test period is transmitted according to a test configuration that specifies that during each test period the reference signal is mapped to only one of the N radio branches such that in test period k, where k=1, . . . , N, the reference signal is only transmitted from radio branch k. The method comprises receiving at least one report from another radio transceiver device relating to measurements made by this so-called another radio transceiver device on the reference signal transmitted for these at least some of the N radio branches to identify which of the N radio branches is the low performing one.

    摘要: Embodiments herein relate to a method, performed by a network node, for reducing a higher layer signaling overhead in multi antenna wireless communication systems. The network node operates in a communication network, which communication network is adapted to wirelessly serve a network device via a Radio Access, RA, node. The network node obtains information from the network device, which information comprises a category of the network device and a number of layers supported by the network device. The network node determines a length of a codebook subset restriction based on the information obtained from the network device. The network node further sends a codebook subset restriction bit map to the network device, according to the determined length of the codebook subset restriction.

    摘要: Systems and methods are disclosed herein for transmission of multi- slot Physical Uplink Shared Channel PUSCH with repetitions in a half- duplex system such as a Time Division Duplexing TDD system. A method performed by a wireless device for transmission of multi- slot PUSCH repetitions in a half-duplex system comprises: receiving, from a network node, information related to slot-based configuration in a plurality of slots or mini-slots in the half-duplex system (400); determining multiple consecutive uplink symbols in the plurality of slots or mini-slots based on the information received from the network node (402); transmitting PUSCH repetitions to the network node in the determined multiple consecutive uplink symbols in the plurality of slots or mini- slots (404). In this manner, the uplink multi-slot operation is facilitated, the uplink transmission gain is increased and the coverage of the TDD system is improved.
