Abstract: An autohesive polymer material that includes: at least one polymer having at least two terminal silyl groups of the Formula (1) given by: Si(R1)a(R2)b (1). Each of the radicals R1 comprises an alkyl, alkenyl or aryl group or a hydrogen atom. Each of the radicals R2 comprises a group that can be eliminated with water, b is 1, 2 or 3, and a is 3−b. The polymer material further includes at least one condensation catalyst. Further, the polymer material is chemically precrosslinked and further crosslinkable with moisture. In addition, the polymer material is configured for use as a layer body that can be applied to a substrate. The polymer material of this kind can also be used for producing permanent bonds.

Abstract: The invention relates to a joining method wherein a first surface (2) of a first adherend (1) and a second surface (8) of a second adherend (6) are bonded to one another by provision of an adhesive tape (3) having a first side (4) and a second side (7), there being disposed on the first side (4) a first activatable adhesive and on the second side (7) a second activatable adhesive, the latter being an activatable pressure-sensitive adhesive, the first side (4) of the adhesive tape (3) is contacted with the first surface (2) of the first adherend (1) to produce a preliminary assembly, the second surface (8) of the second adherend (6) is joined in a joining movement to the second side (7) of the adhesive tape (3), the joining movement having a tangential component and a perpendicular component relative to the second side (7) of the adhesive tape (3), with a ratio between tangential and perpendicular components of greater than 0.5, where a region of contact between second surface (8) of the second adherend (6) and second side (7) of the adhesive tape (3) is provided with a nonaqueous lubricant.

Abstract: Thermally vulcanisable, meltable adhesives and processes have a meltable polybutadiene-polyurethane, ground sulphur and optionally at least one vulcanisation accelerator, at least one filling material, at least one epoxide resin, at least one tackifier resin, bitumen, at least one softener and further auxiliary and additive materials, wherein said adhesives and processes can be thermally vulcanised within a temperature range of 130° C. to 230° C., such that same, as well as an adhesive strip produced from same, can be used for adhesion and/or sealing in the automotive industry, as well as in structural work on oiled sheet metal, and in the painting line on e-coated or otherwise painted sheet metal, for example, for crimp fold adhesion, for crimp fold sealing, for seam sealing, for lining adhesion, for hole closure and much more.
