Abstract: Disclosed is a curable sealant composition including: (i) a thiol-terminated prepolymer and/or monomers thereof, wherein the thiol-terminated prepolymer is a polythioether or a polysulfide; (ii) an “ene” crosslinker having a molecular weight of about 100 to about 5000; and (iii) a pH indicator molecule including a quantum dot functionalized with a pH-responsive ligand. Methods for determining a sufficient cure state of a composition by combining the thiol-terminated prepolymer and/or monomers thereof and the “ene” crosslinker with a pH indicator molecule, including a quantum dot functionalized with a pH-responsive ligand, and (ii) then subjecting a resultant mixture of (i) to curing conditions until the mixture changes its color are also disclosed.

Abstract: Systems and methods for a flexible container for transport and storage of a working material are described herein. The material can be a viscous or liquid material when dispensed. The flexible container can be configured to move between a first shape and a second shape. The first shape can allow for efficient transport of the flexible container while the second shape can allow for the flexible container to couple to a dispenser. In certain examples, the flexible container can be cooled for transport and heated for dispensing.

The body can include a cavity with a dispensing nozzle and a plunger disposed within the cavity. The body can further include one or more channels separate from the cavity. The channel(s) increases the rate of heat transfer associated with the container and, thus, increases the cooling or heating rate of the material within the container.

Abstract: A method of preparing specimens for peel-adhesion testing. The method includes applying a first predetermined amount of light-curable material to a substrate coupon, placing a first surface of a substantially transparent peel media in contact with the light-curable material disposed on the substrate coupon, where the substantially transparent peel media includes a second surface spaced from the first surface, and exposing the first predetermined amount of light-curable material disposed between the substrate coupon and the first surface to a light source to cure the first predetermined amount of light-curable material, with light from the light source passing through the substantially transparent peel media to the substrate coupon.
