Abstract: The present invention relates to a fluorescent polymer cast on the surface of wells of a plate and a plate comprising the fluorescent polymer. The plate is used in a method for calibrating read-out values of plate readers. The method for calibrating the plate readers can effectively reduce the deviation of read-out values among different plate readers.

Abstract: Disclosed is a rubber molded body formed from a rubber composition, wherein the rubber composition contains: a natural rubber and a butadiene rubber as predominant rubber components; a low-melting paraffin wax having a melting point of 45 to 57° C.; and optionally a low-melting fatty acid amide having a melting point of 35 to 85° C., wherein the mass ratio of the natural rubber to the butadiene rubber ranges from 80/20 to 10/90, wherein the amount of the low-melting paraffin max contained in the rubber composition ranges from 20 to 70 parts by mass per 100 parts by mass of all rubber components, and wherein the total amount of the low-meting paraffin wax and the low-melting fatty acid amide contained in the rubber composition ranges from 30 to 100 parts by mass per 100 parts by mass of all rubber components.

Abstract: Water-based coating compositions or paint having improved gloss retention, including a latex or water-dispersible polymer, a UV-VIS absorber comprising a substituted benzophenone capable of being a free radical generator, a hindered amine light stabilizer, and optionally a low-VOC coalescent provided in a preferably desired amount. A composition comprising a blend a UV-VIS absorber comprising a substituted benzophenone capable of being a free radical generator, a hindered amine light stabilizer, and a low-VOC coalescent, providing a thermally-stable coalescent that can be used in a paint formulation for gloss retention. Gloss retention of paints containing the UV-VIS absorber and hindered amine light stabilizer being markedly improved over paints that do not have both components present.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a halogen-free thermosetting resin composition, a prepreg and a laminate for printed circuit boards using the same. The halogen-free thermosetting resin composition comprises, based on 100 parts by weight of organic solids, (A) from 16 to 42 parts by weight of a halogen-free epoxy resin, (B) from 1.5 to 4.8 parts by weight of a compound containing dihydrobenzoxazine ring; (C) from 10 to 28 parts by weight of a phosphorus-containing bisphenol curing agent, wherein the phosphorus-containing bisphenol curing agent has a weight average molecular weight of 1000-6500, and (D) from 30 to 70 parts by weight of silicon dioxide. The prepreg and laminate for printed circuit boards prepared from the halogen-free thermosetting resin composition have high glass transition temperature, excellent dielectric performances, low water absorption, high heat resistance and better processability, and can achieve halogen-free flame retardancy and UL94 V-0.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a halogen-free flame retardant resin composition, according to parts by weight, the resin composition comprises: (A) a mixture of phenoxyphosphazene compound (A1) and compound (A2) having a dihydrobenzoxazine ring, the mixture comprising 45-90 parts by weight, and the weight ratio of the phenoxyphosphazene compound (A1) and the compound (A2) having a dihydrobenzoxazine ring is between 1:25-1:2; (B) an epoxy resin with epoxy equivalent of 500-2000, the epoxy resin comprising 10-45 parts by weight; (C) a phenolic resin comprising 10-25 parts by weight; and (D) an amine curing agent comprising 0.5-10 parts by weight.
