Abstract:
A fuel composition which includes at least: a fuel from one or more sources selected from the group that comprises mineral, plant and synthetic sources; a compound (T1) selected among polyalkylene glycols, C1-C12 alkyl and polyalkylene glycol ethers, and the mixtures thereof; and a compound (T2) selected among the non-ionic emulsifiers. Also, an additive composition including at least: a compound (T1) selected among the C1-C6 alkyl and polyethylene glycol ethers including two to six units of ethylene glycol; a compound (T2) selected among the esters of one or more C1-C36 alkenyl carboxylic or alkyl carboxylic acids, and a polyol selected among sorbitan and isosorbide, taken alone or mixed together; and possibly a detergent additive. Further, a method for preventing, avoiding or delaying the formation of ice crystals or flakes in a tank of a vehicle provided with an internal combustion engine.
Abstract:
A composition of fuel additives includes at least a first additive having a partial ester derivative of polyols and a second additive having a quaternary ammonium salt. The first additive includes at least 50% by mass of a compound A selected from the partial esters of polyols and saturated or unsaturated, linear or branched, cyclic or acyclic C4 to C36 monocarboxylic aliphatic hydrocarbarbons, the partial esters being able to be used alone or in a mixture. The disclosure also relates to a diesel fuel including such a composition and the use of the fuel for limiting the deposits in a diesel engine. In particular, the disclosure relates to the use of the fuel containing the composition of additives of the present disclosure in direct-injection diesel engines.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a fuel composition comprising:—from 35% to 75% by weight of cyclopentane,—from 10% to 25% by weight of one or more aromatic hydrocarbon(s), and—up to 55% by weight of one or more branched alkane(s) chosen from 2-methylbutane and trimethylpentanes, with a weight ratio of the cyclopentane content to the aromatic hydrocarbon content greater than or equal to 2. The invention also relates to the use of such a composition for supplying a spark ignition engine, in particular for increasing the engine power and/or for reducing the specific fuel consumption of the engine and/or for increasing the octane number (RON).
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a composition of additives, comprising: at least one copolymer having at least one motif of formula (I) and at least one motif of formula (II); at least one cold-flow improver selected from the copolymers of ethylene and unsaturated ester(s); and at least one anti-settling and/or paraffin dispersant additive.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to anti-lacquering additives for vehicle fuels of the gas oil or bio gas oil type having a sulphur content less than or equal to 500 ppm by mass. These additives also improve the lacquering resistance of the higher-grade vehicle fuels of gas oil or bio gas oil type having a sulphur content less than or equal to 500 ppm by mass.
