    Abstract: A hybrid vehicle including: an engine; output member that transmits driving force to drive wheels; a rotating electric machine; and a power split mechanism that splits and transmits the driving force output from the engine to the output member and the rotating electric machine, the mechanism including at least three rotating elements of an input element connected to the engine, a reaction force element connecting the rotating electric machine, and an output element connecting the output member, the machine capable of outputting reaction force torque to required engine torque based on an acceleration request to apply torque to the required engine torque to the drive wheel, where the machine does not output the reaction force torque, engine rotation speed increase control being able to be executed, engine torque limitation due to a NV requirement being able to be executed and which is relaxed during the engine rotation speed increase control.

    Abstract: A clutch includes: an input member and an output member that rotate about an axis; an actuator fixed so as to be nonrotatable, the actuator having a plunger, a case, and a coil housed in the case; and an elastic member having one end which is connected to the output member via a bearing and another end which is connected to the plunger directly or indirectly. Further, when the coil is energized and the plunger is attracted in a direction of the axis, the another end of the elastic member is biased in the direction of the axis, the elastic member is elastically deformed, and the output member is consequently pressed against and engaged with the input member.

    Abstract: A selectable clutch includes: input and output members; a pocket plate connected to the output member; struts accommodated in accommodation recess portions of the pocket plate; a notch plate connected to the input member; a selector plate, disposed between the pocket plate and the notch plate; contact portions, movable in an axial direction of the rotational axis, rotating integrally with the selector plate around the rotational axis; and an actuators, fixed so as to be non-rotatable, including a plungers connected with the contact portion via bearings, cases, and coils accommodated in the cases. Further, by the coils being energized and the plungers being sucked in the axial direction, the contact portions are pushed in the axial direction, and by the contact portions being pushed to the input member, the selector plate rotates and the struts rise up.

    Abstract: A hybrid vehicle includes an engine; a motor generator; and an electronic control unit to control the engine and the motor generator. Further, when an engine speed thereof is increased, the electronic control unit calculates an engine torque by adding an engine inertia torque to a request engine torque and cause the engine to output the calculated engine torque, and cause the motor generator to output a reaction torque in response to the request engine torque, and the electronic control unit performs control so that a torque assistance amount exerted by the motor generator is changeable while the engine speed is increased.

    Abstract: A power transmission unit for preventing malfunction and deterioration in durability of a locking device arranged in a housing by preventing the ingress of foreign matters into the locking device. In the power transmission unit, a one-way brake 10 for selectively stopping a rotation of an output shaft 1a of an engine 1 is disposed between the housing 11 of a transmission mechanism and an engine block 1b. A fixed member 10a is fixed to the housing 11 or to the engine block 1b, and a movable member 10b is attached to the output shaft 1a. A through hole 21 is formed on the housing at a vertically lowest portion and axially outside of a region where the one-way brake 10 is situated, so as to provide a communication between an inner space and an outer space of the housing 11.
