摘要: An electric powered vehicle includes: a motor; an inverter configured to convert electric power from a battery to drive the motor; a transmission configured to shift the rotation output of the motor at a variable transmission gear ratio; and a controller configured to control the inverter to control the driving of the motor and to control a change in the shift gear stage, and to perform high surge region avoidance control for changing the gear ratio of the transmission to change a motor rotation speed while maintaining a vehicle speed and changing an operation point outside a high surge region, when the operation point of the motor enters the high surge region where the inverter is controlled by a PWM overmodulation control system, and the high surge region is defined to be equal to or higher than a predetermined rotation speed and equal to or less than predetermined torque.

摘要: A rotor includes: a shaft provided with a flange which projects outward in a radial direction from an outer peripheral surface of the shaft; and a rotor core formed by laminating a plurality of electromagnetic steel sheets, the rotor core being fitted on the outer peripheral surface of the shaft such that an axial-direction end surface of the rotor core is in contact with the flange. An annular recessed portion is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the shaft at a portion adjacent to a surface of the flange on a side of the rotor core, and two or more of the electromagnetic steel sheets positioned above the annular recessed portion and other electromagnetic steel sheets are joined to each other so as to form an integral body.

摘要: A cooling structure for a rotary electric machine includes a first supply pipe that is disposed vertically above a rotary electric machine and that has a discharge hole through which a refrigerant is discharged toward the rotary electric machine; a second supply pipe that is disposed in parallel with the first supply pipe vertically above the rotary electric machine and that has a discharge hole through which the refrigerant is discharged toward the rotary electric machine; and a pump configured to deliver the refrigerant to the first supply pipe and the second supply pipe such that a direction of the refrigerant flowing through the first supply pipe and a direction of the refrigerant flowing through the second supply pipe are opposite to each other.

摘要: A hybrid vehicle is equipped with an engine that is connected to a power split mechanism, a generator, an electric motor, and also a stepped transmission that is arranged between the electric motor and a drive shaft. An electronic control unit (an ECU) with which this hybrid vehicle is equipped revises a down line downward to make a downshift likely to occur when at least one of a prescribed generator condition and a prescribed electric motor condition is fulfilled. The generator condition includes that the temperature of the generator is equal to or higher than a first reference temperature and that an absolute value of a rotational speed of the generator decreases due to the making of the downshift. The electric motor condition includes that the temperature of the electric motor is equal to or higher than a third reference temperature.

摘要: A stator of a rotating electric machine includes a stator core, a plurality of insulators and a plurality of concentrated winding coils. The stator core includes an annular yoke and a plurality of teeth. The insulators are located along outer peripheral wall surfaces of the teeth. Each of the insulators includes a plurality of first surfaces and a plurality of second surfaces. The second surfaces connect the first surfaces. The coils are fitted on the teeth on which the insulators have been placed from a radially inner side thereof. The first surfaces of each of the insulators are in contact with inner peripheral surfaces of the coil that is placed on the outer periphery of the insulator.
