    摘要: A message processing device is adapted to obtain text data and read aloud the text data aloud by using a voice synthesizer. A loudspeaker device is connected to the message processing device to output or read aloud the text data. The text data can be received through a receiving device that receives outside information data or e-mail message data. The voice synthesizer can be controlled by an outside information controller, with the outside information controller being able to distinguish senders of the text data and being able to select one voice tone data to read aloud messages sent by one sender. If the controller recognizes that there are other messages sent by another sender, the controller allots different voice tone data for the other sender's messages. The message processing device can include a voice navigation device to generate voice signals for giving route guidance messages or information to a driver of a vehicle. The voice tone used for the route guidance message is preferably different from the voice tone used to read aloud the outside information message. It is thus possible for the driver to recognize the source or senders of different messages being read aloud. It is also possible to adjust the output timing of the route guidance message and the outside information message.

    摘要: A system which automatically makes a travel plan by using on-vehicle or portable terminal. The system can prepare a travel plan in which the concrete destination and route are specified when rough positional and temporal conditions are inputted. The objective area and schedule inputted through the terminal are transmitted to an information center. At the information center, a basic frame of the travel meeting the received conditions is prepared. For a day trip, an example of the basic frame is “departure-walk-lunch-amusement park-night view-return”. After the basic frame is prepared, concrete facilities meeting the actions are specified by making access to a data base. The specified facilities are inputted to the basic frame, and thus a concrete plan is completed. The completed plan is supplied to the terminal and displayed on a display to the persons who want to travel. The completed plan is further supplied to a navigation system and the system guides the persons in accordance with the plan.

    摘要: A vehicle guiding system enables a plurality of vehicles to run in a platoon with minimum assistance from drivers, and is intended to enhance effective use of from auto-drive lane. When the vehicle runs in the platoon, a front running vehicle detects its displacement from a magnetic nail, and calculates a steering amount to be corrected (i.e. control variables). The front running vehicle not only controls its own movements on the basis of the control variable data but also transmits them to a following vehicle. The following vehicle does not detect its displacement from the magnetic nail, but controls its steering amount on the basis of the received control variable data. The first following vehicle transfers the control variable data to a further following vehicle. The further following vehicle simply receives the control variable data from the following vehicle, and does not calculate its own control variables. This reduces a distance between the vehicles which is necessary for each vehicle to perform such calculation.

    摘要: An automatic compression releasing device intended for reducing the pressure inside the combustion chamber of the four cycle engine at the start by opening and closing the intake or exhaust valve of the combustion chamber actuated by the cam on the cam shaft through the tappet. A single moving piece mounted, on the side of the gear integrated with the cam shaft, as enclosing the cam shaft, can slide over the side of the gear in a given direction, guided by two slots opened in the moving piece and two pins planted on the gear side. A tappet lifting arm is extended from the moving piece to such a position as to push up the tappet. At the start, the centrifugal force on the moving piece is designed not to exceed the opposing force, thus keeping the tappet lifting arm projected out of the cam base circle, and also retaining the returning force of the moving piece acting on the tappet lifting arm through the tappet being supported by the guide slots and pins. During the normal rpm, the centrifugal force on the moving piece overcomes aforesaid opposing force to slide the moving piece along said guide slots, bringing the tappet lifting arm level with or further down into the cam base circle.
