    摘要: An electronic network system for implementing ARP (Address Resolution Protocol) and RARP (Reverse Address Resolution Protocol) type communication. ARP type communication is facilitated by including within the ARP response packet an offset address indicating the memory location of the software application that is the subject of the ARP type communication. RARP type communication is facilitated by providing each network node with a network unique ID and using the unique ID when generating RARP requests.

    摘要: In a system for carrying out communication between a plurality of apparatus connected using an IEEE 1394 serial bus etc., command register addresses are fixed from "FFFF F000 0B00h" to "FFFF F000 0D00h" and response register addresses are fixed from "FFFF F000 0D00h" to "FFFF F000 0DF0h". These addresses are then common to all of the apparatus connected to the bus. Then, while an arbitrary apparatus on the bus is sending a command to all of the remaining apparatus, the address of the command register is included in the command and this command is transmitted as a broadcast communication. This command is then stored at a command register having a common address within the apparatus that received the command. Thus, time setting and state setting etc. of each apparatus can be achieved.

    摘要: To satisfactorily control electronic equipment on the controlled side by electronic equipment on the controlling side without useless processing. The controlled electronic equipment is provided with memory means for storing icon information and functional information. Controlling electronic equipment sends a command requesting icon information and functional information to the controlled electronic equipment and obtains information as a response. The controlling electronic equipment displays icons showing the controlled electronic equipment on a display based upon the icon information. The controlling electronic equipment displays a control panel displaying functions with which the controlled electronic equipment is provided in the format of a button and others on the display based upon the functional information. The controlling electronic equipment is not required to inquire of the controlled electronic equipment whether the functions displayed on the panel correspond to the functions of them or not and a user can operate any function of the controlled electronic equipment on the panel.

    摘要: To make an inquiry about whether or not a predetermined command is applicable to an electronic apparatus on the controlled side with ease and in a short period of time without letting the electronic apparatus on the controlled side carry out unnecessary processing. A controlling device transmits a notify command to a controlled device. Since the notify command is applicable to the controlled device, execution of the notify command is started thereby. At the beginning of the execution of the notify command, the controlled device sends back an interim response to the controlling device, entering a state waiting for a change which is to be reported by sending back a changed response. When the controlling device receives the interim response from the controlled device, the controlling device can determine that the notify command is applicable to the controlled device, achieving the purpose of sending the notify command. For this reason, when the controlling device receives the interim response from the controlled device, the controlling device immediately transmits a notify (cancel) command to the controlled device, requesting the controlled device to cancel the notify command sent prior to the notify (cancel) command. Receiving the notify (cancel) command, the controlled device discontinues the execution of the notify command.

    摘要: A seal useful in sealing slide out rooms used in recreational vehicles. The seal may be used singularly or in pairs to straddle a wall through which the opening is located. A bulb is attached to the base in a cantilevered manner over the base. The bulb has an outer arcuate portion that is integrally joined to opposing sidewall portions. The sidewall portions extend into an inner wall that defines an enclosed space within the bulb portion. The bulb portion may also have a protrusion that can touch the base. A wiper extends from the base substantially co-linearly to the base and opposite the offsetting member. A locating leg extending from the base is movable between a first position and a second position. The first position has the locating leg perpendicular to the base and the second position places the locating leg parallel to the base.
