    摘要: An electrostatic protection device with an improved durability with repeated use and an excellent discharging property is provided. The electrostatic protection device 100 comprising an insulating laminate 11, a pair of discharge electrodes 12 and 13 inside the insulating laminate 11 and a discharge triggered part 14 disposed between these discharge electrodes and at the periphery of the end portion of the discharge electrode is configured by disposing glass-containing insulating layers 15 and 16 on the surfaces of the discharge electrodes. The flow of conductive inorganic materials in the discharge electrodes towards the discharge triggered part caused by the discharging process can be inhibited by arranging the insulating layer containing glass on the surfaces of the discharge electrodes.

    摘要: An interactive communication apparatus has a video signal, obtained by an image pickup device performing an image pickup activity, and which has the obtained video signal sent to another apparatus through a communication device while causing a display device to display an image based on a video signal received from the other apparatus through the communication device. The apparatus includes a storage device storing communicating party information about a communicating party at the other apparatus, the communicating party information including geographical location information and access point information about the communicating party. The apparatus also includes a graphic user interface generating a graphic user interface screen in order to have the display device display the generated screen by mapping an identification image identifying the communicating party onto a map based on the communicating party information in such a manner as to indicate a local time applicable to the communicating party.

Transmission of data rates is realized by sending speed-control symbols at a predetermined speed. As for a Tp bias signal, an equivalent object is achieved by sending predetermined control symbols.

    摘要: To provide an antistatic device having a low capacitance, good discharge characteristics, and small variations in the discharge characteristics. In a so-called gap-type antistatic device in which a space between a pair of opposing electrodes is filled with an electrostatic protection material, a discharge inducing portion has protrusions protruding from interfaces between the opposing electrodes and the insulation substrates toward the insulation substrates and has a shape protruding on both sides of the insulation substrates. The relationship among the gap distance between the electrodes, the thicknesses of the opposing electrodes, and the protrusions of the discharge inducing portion is controlled under specific conditions.
