摘要： An engine with an inclined cylinder, including a horizontally-disposed crankshaft, and two balancer shafts arranged in parallel to the crankshaft. A drive gear for driving the balancer shafts is provided on the crankshaft, and driven gears respectively meshed with the drive gear are provided on the balancer shafts. The two balancer shafts are divided into areas on both sides of a center line of the cylinder and into upper and lower regions relative to an axis of the crankshaft, and axes of the balancer shafts are arranged so as to be placed within a range of a diameter of the drive gear.

摘要： A balancer shaft of an engine includes a pair of journal portions, a first stage balance weight and a second stage balance weight. The first stage balance weight is formed between the journal portions and eccentrically arranged with respect to an axis. The second stage balance weight is formed on a center part of the first stage balance weight in the axial direction and projects outward from the first stage balance weight in a radial direction. The balancer shaft has a recess portion on the opposite side of the eccentricity direction.

摘要： A cooling apparatus of an engine includes a cooling fan, a fan housing, and a shroud guiding cooling air from the fan housing to the outer circumferential surface of an engine body portion. Further, a cooling air passage passing throughout in a cylinder head from one side surface of the cylinder head to the other side surface thereof is formed in the cylinder head, and a narrowed or throttle guide portion which guides the cooling air from the interior of the fan housing to an inlet opening of the one side surface of the cooling air passage is formed in the shroud.

摘要： A speed governor is used with an engine having a crankshaft and a balancer shaft arranged substantially in parallel to the crankshaft, in which a drive gear provided in the crankshaft and a driven gear provided in the balancer shaft are meshed with each other so as to transmit mechanical power. The speed governor includes a plurality of flyweights pivotally supported on the driven gear of the balancer shaft by the plurality of support pins. The driven gear has a recess portion on an end surface thereof, and the support pins supporting the flyweights are arranged in the recess portion. Each of the support pins has two ends in a longitudinal direction and through holes are respectively located at the ends of the support pins.

摘要： An optical system forms an optical image on an imager, and a read control block selects a read rule for the imager depending on a magnification addressed by a magnification address block. The imager transforms an optical image at an addressed area into electrical signals in compliance with the read rule. The read image signals are stored in n image memories, where n is the number of images necessary for ultra-resolution processing. Ultra-resolution processing is built up of a motion estimation block and a high-resolution image estimation block adapted to estimate image data having a high-resolution image sequence. A selector selects a basic image for motion estimation and an image that is estimated in terms of motion.
