摘要: An inspection apparatus inspects a package group including a plurality of discrete packages that are successively connected in a chain. The inspection apparatus includes an irradiating component, a light receiving component, a generating component, an identifying component, an estimating component and a weight diagnosing component. The irradiating component is configured and arranged to irradiate inspection waves to the package group with the inspection waves being X-rays or terahertz waves. The identifying component is configured to identify a plurality of discrete package regions corresponding to the discrete packages from an inspection image generated by the generating component. The estimating component is configured to estimate one or more weight values respectively corresponding to one or more of the discrete package regions. The weight diagnosing component is configured to diagnose the package group as being abnormal in weight when any of the weight values falls outside a predetermined range.

摘要: In an airbag-equipped steering wheel, a plurality of horn switch mechanisms assembled to a bag holder each have a securing pin, which is inserted into a corresponding one of through holes formed in a metal core. A clip is engaged with a locking groove of each securing pin, so that each horn switch mechanism is fastened to the metal core. The through holes include one or more normal through holes that restrict inclination of the corresponding securing pins, and a special through hole that has an inclination permitting portion. The inclination permitting portion permits the corresponding securing pin to be inclined about the corresponding clip 13 serving as a fulcrum. In the special through hole, the securing pin is permitted to be inclined about the clip serving as a fulcrum only when the clips are disengaged from the securing pin in all the normal through holes.

摘要: A method of data compression for recording data on a recording medium such as a magentic tape, a method of data restoration for data which has been compressed for recording, and an apparatus of data compression and restoration prescribe the data to be compressed based on type or value and encode the compression object data, thereby reducing the number of bits necessary to indicate the compression object data. Compression is implemented only for consecutive data fewer in number of repeating consecutive bytes than a certain number, thereby reducing the number of bits necessary to indicate the number of bytes of the consecutive data. A compression mark indicative of compression is appended to the compressed data, consisting of data made by encoding the compression object consecutive data and data indicating the number of bytes of the data, either at the front or rear of the compressed data, whereby an input data string can be compressed drastically and compressed data, even including errors, can be restored.
