摘要: An occupant protection apparatus for a vehicle includes a first power source means, a second power source means for supplying power of higher voltage than that of the first power source means, a collision-predicting means for predicting a collision, a driving means for driving an actuation mechanism of the vehicle on the basis of an output from the collision-predicting means, and a switching means for switching over from the first power source means to the second power source means for supplying power to the driving means when a collision is predicted to occur by the collision-predicting means.

摘要: An apparatus for protecting a vehicle occupant includes an impact-predicting means for predicting an impact of a vehicle, a seat operating means for operating, based on an output from the impact-predicting means, a predetermined operating mechanism so as to control each portion of a seat to a predetermined target position, a controlling means for controlling operation of the seat operating means. A speed for operating the seat by the seat operating means is selectively set at a first operating speed, which is employed at an emergency condition at which a vehicle impact is predicted, and at a second operating speed, which is employed at a normal condition at which a vehicle impact is not predicted, and is lower than the first operating speed.

摘要: When moving a head rest front portion in a full-open position direction, an ECU determines that the head rest front portion comes close to an occupant head portion on the basis of a detection result of an electrostatic capacitance sensor so as to stop the head rest front portion, and determines that the head rest front portion comes close to the occupant head portion on the basis of an absolute capacitance change with respect to a reference electrostatic capacitance value of the electrostatic capacitance sensor. Alternatively, the ECU determines that the head rest front portion comes close to the occupant head portion on the basis of a change amount of the electrostatic capacitance value of the electrostatic capacitance sensor.

摘要: A door latch operation device for vehicle which can link a mechanical operation member and a latch mechanism by an operation of a mechanical identification operation member. The door latch operation device includes a lift lever linked to the latch mechanism, an inside lever linked to the mechanical operation member, and an open link provided between the lift lever and the inside lever. The open link is adapted to be operatively connected to the mechanical operation member and the mechanical identification operation member to move the open link and cause the open link to engage the lift lever. The open link is also rotatable to be engaged with and disengaged from the inside lever. A guiding mechanism movably and rotatably guides the open link.

摘要: A door lock apparatus for a vehicle includes an outside switch provided outside of a vehicle for detecting an opening operation of a door from the outside of the vehicle, an actuator for releasing an engagement of a latch mechanism of the door, a control device electrically connected to the outside switch for driving the actuator in response to the opening operation of the door being detected by the outside switch, and a detecting device for detecting an impact added to the vehicle. When the detecting device detects the impact added to the vehicle, the control device disables the opening operation of the door being detected by the outside switch within a first predetermined time from the detection of the impact.
