Abstract:
A connector which includes a male connector housing (1), a female connector housing (2), and a rotary shaft (3) for camming the male connector housing (1) into engagement with the female connector housing. The male connector housing 1 includes flexible arms (6) having engagement claws (8) for alternatively engaging holes (19) and (20) provided in the female connector housing so as to retain the connector housings in a provisionally engaged position or a completely engaged position. The flexible arms also include a constrictive portion (7) for flexing the arms outwardly when the shaft is inserted into the connector housings. As a result, the engagement claws (8) are disengaged from the provisional engagement holes (19) so that the connector housings can be moved to the completely engaged position. After the connector housings have been moved to the completely engaged position as a result of rotation of the shaft, the shaft can than be removed from the connector housings so that the claws (8) engage holes (20).
Abstract:
A shielded connector is provided which directly grounds harmful noise in the connector to the mounting body at the same time that the connector is mounted to the body. A metal shell is interposed between the insulating inner housing accommodating a terminal and the insulating outer housing accommodating the inner housing. The metal shell is provided with a metal clamp for grounding which projects outwardly from the outer housing to be directly fixed to a grounding body by a bolt.
Abstract:
In a connector comprising: a terminal having an electrically contacting spring piece which is accommodated in a surrounding wall in such a manner that it is allowed to protrude through an opening formed in the surrounding wall; and a connector housing into which the terminal is inserted, the spring piece has an electrically contacting portion confronted with the opening, and an slide portion bent in such a manner that it is away from the opening, and the connector housing has a depressing protrusion for depressing the slide portion. As the terminal is inserted into the connector housing, the depressing protrusion depresses the slide portion so as to cause the electrically contacting portion to protrude outside through the opening. Thus, the electrically contacting spring piece of the terminal is protectively held in the terminal until the latter is inserted into the connector housing.
Abstract:
In a terminal in which a contact plate portion of a contact spring piece is projected through an opening of a bottom plate portion and a stop plate at the tip end of a rear plate portion bent from the contact plate portion is to butt against the opening edge of the bottom plate portion, curved parts are formed in a range extending from the contact plate portion to the rear plate portion. The curved parts have an arcuate section taken along a width direction of the spring piece.
Abstract:
A connector for circuit board has a guide case provided on the base wall thereof, which has openings for exposing terminal conductors of a circuit board inserted therein and guide ribs for leading insertion of spring terminal of another connector and of which the edge portion is tapered. Thereby the terminal connecting portion of the circuit board may be assembled without a shift in position and it is possible to keep a secure electrical connection of the two connectors.
Abstract:
A connector fitting construction in which a half-fitted condition is positively prevented when fitting a pair of male and female connectors together, and the fitting operation and a fitting release operation can be effected easily, and a connector housing can be formed into a small size. In this connector fitting construction, the male connector includes a connector housing, and an exclusive-use housing forming a slider receiving portion for receiving a slider therein. Guide grooves for respectively guiding opposite side portions of a body of the slider are formed respectively in opposite side portions of the exclusive-use housing. A lock arm, provided at a central portion of the exclusive-use housing, includes a lock beak having a slanting surface, and a housing lock formed on a lower surface thereof at a front end thereof, and side spaces are provided respectively on opposite sides of the lock arm. The slider has a slider arm provided in the slider body, the slider arm having a pair of abutment projections. The female connector includes a pair of stopper projections, which are formed on a housing, and abut respectively against the abutment projections when the two connectors are fitted together, a slanting projection having a slanting surface, and an engagement groove.
Abstract:
A shield connector wherein maintenance thereof such as replacement of terminals can be performed readily and admission of water is prevented. The shield connector comprises a tubular outer housing made of an insulating resin material, a tubular metal shell inserted in the outer housing and having a semi-annular contacting portion formed thereon, an inner housing made of an insulating resin material and inserted in the metal shell, a plurality of terminals removably accommodated in the inner housing and connected to a shield cable, a rear shell removably fitted in the metal shell and having a semi-annular contacting portion formed thereon, an annular cap made of an insulating resin material for removably holding therein the semi-annular contacting portions of the metal shell and the rear shell with a shield portion of the shield cable inserted between the semi-annular contacting portions, and a rear cover made of a synthetic resin material and removably fitted with a rear end portion of the outer housing. The shield cable extends through the rear cover.
Abstract:
An exhaust gas treatment device for preventing a large quantity of unburned HC components from being released to the outside until a diesel oxidation catalyst reaches an activation temperature after early post-injection. By reducing a throttle opening of a variable throttle mechanism (77) provided in an oil passage (72), or increasing a set value of an oil pressure level detected in an oil pressure sensor (78) provided on the downstream side of the variable throttle mechanism, power of an oil circulation pump (74) is increased before a start point t1 of the early post-injection. With this arrangement, by increasing a load of a diesel engine to increase a temperature rise gradient of exhaust gas at the stage of increasing the temperature of the diesel oxidation catalyst, the unburned HC component released until the diesel oxidation catalyst reaches the activation temperature is reduced.
Abstract:
An image processing apparatus capable of improving the usability in search by, for a person presumed to be difficult to be misidentified, improving the frequency of identifying the person. When calculated degree of similarity is equal to or greater than a threshold, it is identified that a face of the person corresponds to a face of any one of registered persons. The threshold is set to a second value greater than a first value, for the face of one of the registered persons who has not been identified when starting recording of the image, and the threshold is set to a third value between the first value and the second value, for the face of one of the registered persons who is already identified when starting the recording of the image, after the recording of the shot image to the nonvolatile recording medium is started.
Abstract:
Reliability of a semiconductor device is improved. In a flatness inspection of BGA (semiconductor device), there is formed a flatness standard where a permissible range in the direction of (+) of flatness at normal temperature is smaller than a permissible range in the direction of (−). With use of the above flatness standard, a flatness inspection of the semiconductor device at normal temperature is performed to determine whether the mounted item is non-defective or defective. With the above process, defective mounting caused by a package warp when heated during reflow soldering etc. is reduced and reliability of BGA is improved. At the same time, flatness management of a substrate-type semiconductor device with better consideration of a mounting state can be performed.
