    摘要: A fuel system of an internal combustion engine comprises a fuel tank for storing fuel, a fuel injection valve disposed on the internal combustion engine, a fuel supply pipeline connecting between the fuel tank and the fuel injection valve, a fuel pump for supplying the fuel in the fuel tank to the fuel injection valve through the fuel supply pipeline, a fuel injection pressure regulator for regulating the fuel injection pressure of the fuel injection valve to a predetermined pressure, a fuel return pipeline through which surplus fuel from the fuel injection pressure regulator is returned into the fuel tank, and a pressure increasing device disposed in the fuel return pipeline and serving to increase the pressure in the fuel return pipeline above the pressure in the fuel tank while maintaining fuel pressure regulating function of the fuel injection pressure regulator.

    摘要: In a fuel pump driving apparatus for a vehicle engine including a fuel injection system, the selection of a plurality of energizing circuits each formed by the combination of two or all of three brushes of a fuel pump drive motor is effected in accordance with the load conditions of the engine, thereby changing the rotational speed of the motor and hence the fuel quantity delivered from the fuel pump. When the occurrence of a fault in one of the energizing circuits is detected, the driver is informed of the occurrence of the fault and in addition a faulty-condition controller controls switching means in such a manner that the drive motor is energized through another one of the energizing circuits.

    摘要: A fuel injection control apparatus which infers fuel temperature from cooling water temperature and intake air temperature. From these inferred temperatures, a correction coefficient of the air-fuel ratio is found from the inferred fuel temperature and the intake manifold pressure by using data stored in a map. The map is set up so that a characteristic thereof shows that, the higher the inferred temperature of fuel, the larger the correction coefficient of the air-fuel ratio and, thus, the longer the fuel injection time. Subsequently, an ineffective injection time TV is corrected in accordance with the inferred fuel temperature. A fuel injection time TI is then computed from a basic injection time TP, a representative correction coefficient Ftotal representing all correction coefficients including the correction coefficient of the air-fuel ratio, and the ineffective injection time TV.
