    摘要: An automatic article transport system capable of transporting a plurality of articles to respective destination positions within a short time and at high efficiency. The system includes a plurality of fixed rails, a plurality of movable rails each capable of running along a pair of fixed rails, and a plurality of hoists capable of running on the movable rails and of lifting and lowering a member to be transported. Controllers are installed on the movable rails and the hoists, respectively. The system further includes a central controller having a table and a device for generating a path for a member to be transported, and transmitters for transmitting control electric power and control signals between the central controller and the controllers installed on the movable rails and the hoists. A transport path for a member to be transported is determined in the path generating device on the basis of data on members to be transported, transport sequence data, and equipment and structure data.

A transmitting array antenna 1 and receiving array antennas 2a, 2b are arranged on an antenna plate (grounding conductor plate) 3 which serves to ground the antennas, and radio wave absorbers 4 are arranged on two sides of the edges 15 of the antenna plate 3. The radio wave absorbers 4 may be configured of, for instance, a sponge material containing radio wave absorbing grains.

    摘要: There is provided a radar system for improving distance resolution while preventing generation of ghost by an object located in the outside of the effective distance for detection. In this radar system, the signal generated by a voltage-controlled oscillator is transmitted only for the predetermined period by turning ON a switch only for the predetermined time length t1 with an interval of the predetermined period t2. Moreover, the time for detecting the receiving signal is limited to the predetermined period t3 (=t1) from the timing of transmission of the transmitting signal and the reflection signal from the object located in the outside of the effective distance is eliminated by limiting a local signal inputted to a mixer to the period t1.

    摘要: A monopulse radar system for detecting an azimuth depending upon amplitude difference or phase difference between signals respectively received by plural receiving antennas, includes: a transmitting array antenna and a receiving array antenna each including antenna elements forming an antenna train, at least one antenna switch disposed among the elements of the transmitting array antenna and/or the receiving array antenna, and a switch controller for turning ON/OFF the antenna switch to change an aperture length of the transmitting array antenna and/or the receiving array antenna thereby changing a beam shape thereof. The antenna elements of the transmitting array antenna and the receiving array antenna are formed on a dielectric substrate. A dielectric length between the antenna train formed by the antenna elements and the antenna switch is ½ dielectric wavelength.

    摘要: An optical EXCLUSIVE-OR element in which the number of basic elements is reduced which results in increased integration of the element. The optical EXCLUSIVE-OR element comprises a substrate, a first optical functional element and a second optical functional element having the same structure as that of the first optical functional element. Each of the first and second optical functional elements has a light receiving portion and a light emitting portion. The light emitting portion is formed on the light receiving portion. The light emitting portion comprises semiconductor materials having an energy gap wider than the dominant peak energy of the input light, and the light receiving portion comprises semiconductor materials having an energy gap equal to or narrower than the dominant peak energy of the input light. A first electrode is formed over the first and second optical functional elements, and has windows which allow the input light and output light to pass through. Each of the windows being formed at a position corresponding to a top surface of each of the first and second optical functional elements.
