摘要:
An access device 100 includes an access speed information part 112 for informing an access speed required for data recording by the access device 100 to a nonvolatile memory device 200. The nonvolatile memory device includes an access condition determination part 212 for determining an access condition required for meeting the informed access speed and an access area determination unit 213 for determining an access area according to the determined access condition. The access device 100 informs the required access speed to the nonvolatile memory device 200 in advance so that the access condition determination part 212 and the access area determination part 213 in the nonvolatile memory device 200 realize data recording which meets the access speed informed in advance upon the data recording. Thus, it is possible to access all the nonvolatile memory devices at a desired speed regardless of difference in characteristics of the recording speed of each of the nonvolatile memory devices.

To provide the sending and receiving sub-assembly in which the design has high degree of freedom and the optic cable has high light coupling factor. In the sending and receiving sub-assembly 3a of the connector 3, the photoelectric conversion element 31 is provided on the sub-substrate 32 via the bump 34 so as to have a space between the mounting surface, and the optical waveguide cable 2 is disposed in the space. The height of the photoelectric conversion element 31 with respect to the mounting surface is determined according to the thickness of the optical waveguide cable 2, and the height position is controlled by adjusting the size of the bump 34.

An optical waveguide device in which optical loss is reduced. An optical waveguide film cable (1) is constituted of a light-emitting element (3), a light-receiving element (5), and an optical guide member (6). The optical guide member (6) has a film-like shape and a substantially U-shaped core section (10) is formed in a clad section (9). Mirror faces (18, 19) having an inclination angle of 45° are formed on a shoulder portion (16) located at the continuous portion of a body portion (13) and a light inlet portion (14), and on a shoulder portion (17) located at the continuous portion of the body portion (13) and a light exit portion (15). Light emitted from the light-emitting element (3) propagates through the light inlet portion (14) of the core section (10) and is reflected totally by the mirror surface (18). Light subjected to optical path change by 90° on the mirror surface (18) propagates through the body portion (13) of the core section (10) and is reflected totally by the mirror surface (19). Light subjected to optical path change by 90° on the mirror surface (19) propagates through the exit portion (15) of the core section (10) and is received by the light-receiving element (5).

The broadcast receiver apparatus is capable of receiving a broadcast signal and operating with power fed from at least a battery, and the broadcast receiver apparatus includes a tuner for tuning a broadcast wave, a tuning controller capable of a while station search of controlling the tuner and scanning sequentially all of the channels allocated to the television broadcast so as to search for a receivable channel, and a power remaining amount detector for detecting a power remaining amount of a battery, and the broadcast receiver apparatus suppresses the whole station search in accordance with the power remaining amount detected by the power remaining amount detector. As a result, even when a channel selection operation not intended by a user is input, wasteful power consumption is prevented and duration of the viewing can be extended.

In a data transmission/reception apparatus 11, a data transfer is performed by a pipeline technique between N processing sections Pd—1 to Pd_N. The data transmission/reception apparatus 11 includes (N−1) or more intermediary sections 21, each having a transmission/reception control section 23 for controlling data transmission/reception and a buffer 27. The intermediary sections 21 interconnect adjoining first and second data processing sections Pd—1 and Pd—2 to allow data obtained through the data process performed by the first data processing section Pd—1 to be transmitted to the second data processing section. A transmission API 35a in the first data processing section Pd—1 transmits data to the second data processing section Pd—2. A reception API 37b in the second data processing section Pd—2 receives the data transmitted from the second data processing section Pd—2.
