摘要: Terminals of upstream and downstream sides of an in-service line and a detour line are connected by optical couplers. An optical oscilloscope is connected to one optical coupler, and a chirped pulse light source is connected to the other optical coupler to thereby form dualized lines. The detour line includes an optical line length adjuster for compensating for the phase difference of optical transmission signals that occurs because of the optical line length difference with the in-service line. Pulse light in which an optical frequency is chirped is transmitted from the chirped pulse light source. The pulse light is branched by the second optical coupler, passes through the in-service line and the detour line, is multiplexed again by the first optical coupler, and is measured by the optical oscilloscope. While matching an arrival time of the pulse light, the optical line length is adjusted by the optical line length adjuster so as to minimize the size of upper and lower limits of an interference waveform generated in an upper part of the pulse light waveform or so as to make a frequency of an interference waveform become zero.

摘要: A semi-solid lubricant composition for transmission elements which is excellent in lubricity, antiwear properties, and energy-saving performance, has high reliability, and is for use as a turbine oil, machine tool oil, metal working oil, plastic working oil, cutting oil, compressor oil, vacuum-pump oil, electrical-contact oil, grease, or machine oil; and a mechanical system provided with the composition. The composition, which reduces the wear of sliding parts of a transmission element, comprises: an amide compound having one or two amide groups and forming a three-dimensional network structure; and a liquid base oil ingredient having a dynamic viscosity at 100° C. of 25 mm2/s or lower and a viscosity index of 120 or higher. The composition contains substantially no ingredients other than the amide compound and liquid base oil ingredient. The mechanical system has a transmission element including sliding parts which are provided with the semi-solid lubricant composition for transmission elements.

摘要: A variable capacitance element includes a movable element provided above a substrate using supporting portions and support beams so as to be displaced from the substrate. An insulating film and a movable electrode are provided on a conductor facing surface of the movable element. A driving electrode is arranged to displace the movable element, between a signal cutoff position and a signal passage position, whereby a high frequency signal transmitted through a transmission line is cut off or allowed to pass. The insulating film uses compressive stress to warp the movable element and the movable electrode in a direction of warping in a convex form toward the transmission line, and maintains this warping direction.

摘要: In a mobile communication system comprising a PBX connected to a mobile communication network through an interface unit and having a semi-public roaming function, a first PBX is connected to a second PBX having the semi-public roaming function with a leased circuit. The first PBX transmits a position registration/call transmission request of a PHS received by itself to a mobile communication network through the second PBX. The second PBX transmits a call reception request addressed to the PHS from the mobile communication network to the PHS through the first PBX.

摘要: A temporarily saved band value management table for managing temporarily saved band value is provided, as is a band management table for managing empty band value in the storage device of an ATM exchange comprising a storage device, a control device, and the like. The control device selects a corresponding empty band value for a temporarily saved band value when a first camp-on request is received from a terminal, and sets the empty band value to “0.” In addition, the control device adds to the temporarily saved band value a band value released by a break in communication when a camp-on request is registered, and grants permission for communication to the terminal that has issued this camp-on request when the temporarily saved band value is higher than the band value required by a registered camp-on request. The control device determines whether or not a connection request can be accepted on the basis of the empty band value stored in the band management table.

摘要: The present invention provides a bump bonding method that can prevent bumps from being inappropriately shaped. The bump bonding method comprises forming a gold ball (16) at the tip of a gold wire (1) that is inserted through a capillary (3), lowering the capillary (3) while using a displacement detection sensor to detect the vertical displacement of the capillary (3), detecting the position of that portion of an IC (11) in which an electrode is formed, based on the displacement of the capillary (3) detected by the displacement detection sensor when the gold ball (16) abuts the IC (11), pressing he gold ball (16) against the electrode forming portion to form a bump pedestal (17), elevating the capillary (3) a specified amount while moving it in the horizontal direction a specified amount, setting the height S of a position at which the capillary (3) is stopped based on the height H1 of the bump pedestal (17) detected by the displacement detection sensor, again lowering the capillary (3) down to the stop position height S to join the gold wire (1) to the bump pedestal (17), and then lifting the gold wire (1) to break the joint between the bump pedestal (17) and the gold wire (1).
