摘要: A power consuming device is configured to be electrically connected to a power connection point of a power distribution system of a datacenter. The power distribution system includes a hierarchy of power supply equipment. A first label is associated with the power connection point and includes power supply information that indicates the power connection point's place in the hierarchy of power supply equipment. A second label is associated with the power consuming device and includes identification information that identifies the power consuming device. A reader is configured to read the first label to obtain the power supply information and to read the second label to obtain the identification information. An electrical connection management system is configured to receive the power supply information and the identification information obtained by the reader such that the electrical connection management system records the connection of the power consuming device to the power connection point and the power connection point's place in the hierarchy of power supply equipment.

摘要: A mobile application is provided that provides intelligent recommendations based on the knowledge of where the user has been, and what venues the user would like to visit. Further, such an application may be capable of determining where people in a user's social network have been and what venue locations these related users would like to visit. Also, in another implementation, the application may be capable of determining where people with similar tastes have been, and where they would like to go. Some or all of this information may be used by a mobile application that provides recommendations to a user. For instance, in one implementation, a user having a mobile device such as a cell phone wishes to locate a venue to based on one or more parameters, and some or all of this information may be used to order or rank recommendations within the interface.

摘要: In a method for thermally managing a data center housing at least one electronic component, the heat generated by a heat generating device of the at least one electronic component is estimated. In addition, a temperature detected by a first temperature sensor positioned to detect an interior temperature of the at least one electronic component is received. The estimated heat generated by the at least one heat generating device is substantially masked out from the temperature detected by the first temperature sensor and an inlet temperature of the at least one electronic component is determined from a difference between the substantially masked out temperature and the temperature detected by the first temperature sensor.

摘要: In a method of allocating workload among servers based upon historical data, a requested workload profile is received and is compared with a plurality of historical workload profiles. A historical workload profile that is within a predefined range of the requested workload profile and that corresponds to a substantially minimized resource usage for power and cooling is selected. In addition, workload among the servers is allocated according to the selected historical workload profile to thereby substantially minimize resource usage for power and cooling.

摘要: In a method for managing a data center, data for a training set of data is collected. The data includes heat loads generated by a plurality of electronic components and temperatures at multiple locations in the data center and under varying power profiles. A machine learning application is implemented to develop a model of a thermal topology of the data center using the training set of data and the model is implemented to predict heat profiles corresponding to a plurality of power profiles that are outside of the training set of data.

摘要: A remote control barrier operating device that is attachable to a handlebar steered vehicle, such as a motorcycle, bicycle or all terrain vehicle, is described and claimed. The remote control device includes a power source and a remote control barrier operating circuit for transmitting a radio frequency enclosed within a device housing. At least one attachment ear extends from the device housing, for attachment of the device housing to the vehicle. In one embodiment the remote control device is attachable as an accessory to the bar clamp for a handlebar of the vehicle. The remote control device is configured having a pair of attachment ears extending from the device housing, the attachment ears configured for alignment with and attachment to the bar clamp by a pair of screws that pass through the attachment ear apertures to engage one of a pair of threaded apertures of the bar clamp.

摘要: An improved muffler diffuser insert adapted to be used with, and mounted within, an exhaust muffler for effectively helping to reduce noise and back pressure attendant to engine operation. The diffuser comprises a cap end for abutting against an exhaust end of the muffler when the muffler diffuser is mounted within the muffler, which has at least one exhaust opening defined therein for cooperation with the exhaust end of the muffler so as to permit an exhaust flow from the exhaust end of the muffler to pass through. A body portion is connected to the cap end, and defines therein an elongated opening for permitting the exhaust flow from the muffler to pass through. A distal end of the body portion comprises an outermost end and two sound deflection portions positioned on either side of the outermost end for use in deflecting sound waves contained in the exhaust flow so as to enhance noise diffusion.
