    摘要: A ratio (Nc/Lc), in a condenser core portion, of the number of louvers to a width of a condenser cooling fin, and a ratio (Nr/Lr), in a radiator core portion, of the number of louvers to a width of a radiator cooling fin satisfy that the ratio in one core portion, out of the condenser and the radiator core portions, a required radiation amount of which is larger than that of the other core portion is larger than the ratio in the other core portion. Thus, in the core portion having a small required radiation amount, the number of louvers relative to the width of the cooling fin is small thereby decreasing the heat transfer ratio. However, by this, the air flow resistance in this core portion decreases thereby increasing an air flow amount. Thus, the radiation amount of the core portion of which required radiation amount is large increases.

    摘要: According to the present invention, a pin-disposed portion where a pin member for mounting a heat exchanger on a vehicle is disposed is structured such that an inner edge shape of a cross section of the pin-disposed portion draws a four-sided closed curved line. The pin member passes through an inner space of the pin-disposed portion and is connected to the pin-disposed portion at plural positions. In this way, the pin-disposed portion constructs a shell structure which is superior in a mechanical strength. Further, because the pin member is connected to the pin-disposed portion at plural positions while passing through the space, the shell structure of the pin-disposed portion can be made more rigid.

    摘要: A double heat exchanger includes a condenser having a condenser core and a condenser header tank, and a radiator having a radiator core and a radiator header tank. The condenser header tank is composed of a core plate having clamping portions and a tank portion having protruding portions. The protruding portions of the tank portion are clamped by the clamping portions of the core plate so that the tank portion is connected to the core plate in the condenser header tank. The protruding portions of the condenser header tank contacts the radiator header tank, thereby preventing the condenser and radiator header tanks from being inclined toward each other. Therefore, the condenser and radiator header tanks contact and are brazed to each other in a relatively small area. As a result, heat conduction from the radiator to the condenser is prevented, and heat exchange performance of the condenser can be improved.

    摘要: A radiator has plural metal tubes and a metal header tank. The header tank has plural connection portions each of which is connected to each of the tubes, and plural reinforcement ribs formed opposite the connection portions at a non-connection portion of the header tank to which no tube is connected. The reinforcement ribs and the connection portions are arranged in a longitudinal direction of the header tank at substantially the same pitch, so that each of the reinforcement ribs is disposed opposite each of the connection portions. Therefore, a rigidity of the non-connection portion is increased by the reinforcement ribs, and an internal pressure of the header tank is restricted from being intensively applied to the non-connection portion. As a result, a mechanical strength of the header tank is sufficiently increased without increasing a thickness of a metal plate from which the header tank is formed.

Each of the condenser fin and the radiator fin has plural bent portions and plural flat portions each of which connects adjacent bent portions. A louver-forming processing amount of the flat portion of the condenser fin is set smaller than that of the flat portion of the radiator fin. Plural dimple-shaped plastically deformed portions are formed in the flat portion of the condenser fin, so that a whole processing amount of the condenser fin becomes substantially equal to that of the radiator fin. As a result, a radius of curvature of each bent portion of the condenser fin is substantially equal to that of the radiator fin, and the integrated fin is restricted from being deformed.

The tank has an opening through which coolant is introduced, and an elevated portion formed in the vicinity of the opening by elevating a wall of the tank outwardly, so that a dimension of the tank including the elevated portion becomes larger than a dimension of the tank excluding the elevated portion in a direction perpendicular to a longitudinal direction of the tank. As a result, a volume and a sectional area of the tank in the vicinity of the opening are increased, thereby decreasing pressure loss of coolant flowing into the tank. Therefore, even when a size of the tank is reduced to reduce a size of the heat exchanger, pressure loss of coolant flowing into the tank is restricted from increasing.

An end of the condenser tank in a longitudinal direction thereof is closed by a condenser tank cap, and an end of the radiator tank in a longitudinal direction thereof is closed by a radiator tank cap. A bracket through which the heat exchanger is mounted to a vehicle is secured to the end of the radiator tank in the longitudinal direction thereof so that a cavity is formed between the radiator tank cap and the bracket. As a result, heat is restricted from being transmitted from the radiator tank to the bracket. Therefore, heat is restricted from being transmitted from the radiator to the condenser through the bracket to maintain heat exchange performance of the condenser.
