摘要： An information signal recording disc comprises a first recorded region in which an information signal at least including a video signal is recorded, and a second recorded region in which an end signal is intermittently recorded. The end signal is used to forcibly and automatically return a reproducing element of a disc reproducing apparatus from a playing position to a rest position. The second recorded region is provided at a position prior to the first recorded region in a direction of a reproducing sequence of the recorded signals on the information signal recording disc. The disc reproducing apparatus comprises a detecting circuit for detecting the reproduced end signal, and a controller. The controller controls the detecting circuit so that the detecting circuit is made substantially inoperative in a state where the disc reproducing apparatus is coupled to an external device having a discriminating function.

摘要： An information recording disc has a connecting region formed between a parallel program recorded region containing a plurality of parallel information programs and a single program recorded region containing a single information program which is to be reproduced after one of the parallel information programs is reproduced. Each of the parallel program recorded region and the connecting region includes track turns having vertical blanking parts recorded with vertical blanking periods of video signals, and at least one of the vertical blanking parts in each track turn is recorded with an address signal including a first code indicating whether an information program recorded in a track turn of a region is a single information program or a parallel information program, a second code indicating whether the region is the parallel program recorded region or the connecting region, a fourth code indicating the number of information programs recorded in the region, and a fifth code indicating the program number of the program recorded in the region. A reproducing apparatus includes a reproducing element for reproducing information signals from the disc, and the reproducing element is kicked within the vertical blanking part based on the value of the reproduced fourth code during a normal reproduction of a parallel information program.

摘要： A thermal ink-transfer printer for printing a color image on a paper wound along a platen roller in the manner where a thermal head is pressed against the paper and an ink film interposed therebetween so that ink on the ink film is melted by the thermal head. The printer comprises clamp mechanisms having supporting rings and clamp levers for holding an end of the paper against a holding member, clutch mechanisms having clutch rings and clutch levers for fixing the clamp mechanisms and platen roller in a start positioning mode and a printing mode, and a controlling element for coupling the clutch mechanisms with the platen roller in a paper feeding mode and a paper ejecting mode. As the clamp mechanisms hold the supplied end of the paper and the platen roller and the clamp mechanisms have their rotation individually controlled, it is possible to prevent color off-registration in color printing.
