摘要： An information signal recording disc comprises a first recorded region in which an information signal at least including a video signal is recorded, and a second recorded region in which an end signal is intermittently recorded. The end signal is used to forcibly and automatically return a reproducing element of a disc reproducing apparatus from a playing position to a rest position. The second recorded region is provided at a position prior to the first recorded region in a direction of a reproducing sequence of the recorded signals on the information signal recording disc. The disc reproducing apparatus comprises a detecting circuit for detecting the reproduced end signal, and a controller. The controller controls the detecting circuit so that the detecting circuit is made substantially inoperative in a state where the disc reproducing apparatus is coupled to an external device having a discriminating function.

摘要： A rotary recording medium has information signals recorded on a spiral or concentric tracks formed thereon as variations in geometrical configuration. The tracks comprise a mixture of digital recorded tracks which are recorded with a first modulated signal and analog recorded tracks which are recorded with a second modulated signal. The first modulated signal is a digital signal which has been time-sequentially multiplexed in terms of blocks at a transmission frequency of 44.1 kHz or a frequency extremely close to 44.1 kHz and has then been subjected to a modulation, where each of the blocks are constituted by a synchronizing signal, error correcting codes, and an error detecting code, which are added to a plurality of channels of digital data which are digitally modulated information signals. The second modulated signal is an analog modulated analog information signal at least including a composite video signal. A number of blocks recorded in one track turn of the digital recorded tracks is approximately equal to a product of the transmission frequency and a duration of one revolution of the rotary recording medium.

摘要： An object tracking apparatus tracks an object on image data captured continuously. The object tracking apparatus includes an object color adjusting unit and a particle filter processing unit. The object color adjusting unit calculates tendency of color change in regions on image data and adjusts a color of the object set as an object color based on the tendency of color change to obtain a reference color. The particle filter processing unit estimates a region corresponding to the object on image data based on likelihood of each particle calculated by comparing a color around each particle with the reference color, using particles which move on image data according to a predefined rule.

摘要： An optical radio system includes a host device, an end device, and a repeater. The host device and the end device communicate with each other via the repeater by use of optical radio. The repeater includes a section for receiving a first light signal from one of the host device and the end device, a section for converting the received first light signal into a first electric signal, a section for frequency-converting the first electric signal into a second electric signal, and a section for generating a second light signal in response to the second electric signal and transmitting the generated second light signal. The repeater also includes a section for demodulating one of the first electric signal and the second electric signal into a baseband signal, a section for detecting a quality of the baseband signal, and a section for enabling transmission of the second light signal only when the detected quality of the baseband signal is equal to or greater than a predetermined quality.

摘要： An information recording disc has a connecting region formed between a parallel program recorded region containing a plurality of parallel information programs and a single program recorded region containing a single information program which is to be reproduced after one of the parallel information programs is reproduced. Each of the parallel program recorded region and the connecting region includes track turns having vertical blanking parts recorded with vertical blanking periods of video signals, and at least one of the vertical blanking parts in each track turn is recorded with an address signal including a first code indicating whether an information program recorded in a track turn of a region is a single information program or a parallel information program, a second code indicating whether the region is the parallel program recorded region or the connecting region, a fourth code indicating the number of information programs recorded in the region, and a fifth code indicating the program number of the program recorded in the region. A reproducing apparatus includes a reproducing element for reproducing information signals from the disc, and the reproducing element is kicked within the vertical blanking part based on the value of the reproduced fourth code during a normal reproduction of a parallel information program.

摘要： A signal recording system for recording signals on a disc comprises a circuit for generating a modulated signal by subjecting a control program to a self clock modulation based on a reference clock and then to a band limitation to an audio signal band, which control program is transmitted in terms of blocks each having a fixed length, a circuit for generating a block discrimination signal for discriminating a beginning or end of each block, which block discriminating signal has a fundamental frequency which is different from the reference clock frequency of the modulated signal and is within the audio signal band, a circuit for time-division-multiplexing the block discrimination signal to a time period in which the modulated signal is not transmitted, and a circuit for recording the time division multiplexed signal and at least the video signal on the disc. The control program comprises control commands of a disc reproducing apparatus which plays the disc having track turns recorded with the control program at least together with the video signal and input and output commands and internal processing commands of an external device which has a discriminating function and is coupled to the disc reproducing apparatus.

摘要： A control program signal demodulating device comprises a control program demodulator for obtaining a demodulated output of a control program signal from a signal which is reproduced from a rotary recording medium which is recorded with at least the control program signal together with a video signal, where the control program signal indicates a control program including input and output commands and internal processing commands of an external device such as a computer which has a discriminating function and is coupled to a player which plays the rotary recording medium, a memory circuit for at least temporarily storing the demodulated output of the control program demodulator and producing the stored demodulated output, a selecting circuit for selectively producing data received from the memory circuit in response to a transmission request, an interface circuit for transmitting the data which is produced from the selecting circuit to the external device, and for receiving one or a plurality of control commands from the external device, and a command analyser for decoding one or a plurality of control commands received from the interface circuit, and for generating a signal which controls the operation of the player or a signal which requests transmission with respect to the memory circuit and the selecting circuit.
