摘要: The embodiments herein relate to a method performed by a PGW (108) for handling a UEs (101) access to an EPC service via a non-3GPP access network (103). During a request for connecting the UE (101) to the non-3GPP access network (103), the PGW (108) receives identity information which indicates an identity of an AAA node (710) from a non-3GPP access gateway (705). The PGW (108) selects the AAA node (710) which was indicated in the received identity information. The PGW (108) transmits, to the selected AAA node (710), a request message for the UE (101). The request message is a request for authorization of the UE (101) to access the EPC service via the non-3GPP access network (103).

摘要: A Voice Over Wifi (VoWifi) split Protocol Data Unit (PDU) Session handover is provided. In embodiments described herein, a VoWiFi session is established via a Non-3GPP N3IWF over a 5G Core, and a handover to 3GPP access through the 5G System is initiated. During handover and based on local configuration, the Packet Data Network Gateway-Control Plane (PGW-C) and Session Management Function (SMF) (PGW-C+SMF) accepts the PDU Session transfer towards the User Equipment (UE) and Next Generation Radio Access Network (NG-RAN) by means of setting up only the Quality of Service (QoS) Flow associated with a default QoS Rule. The PGW-C+SMF initiates set up of the QoS Flow for Internet Protocol (IP) Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) voice using the PDU Session Modification procedure after the NG-RAN successfully allocates resources for the transferred PDU Session and the confirmation has reached the PGW-C+SMF.

摘要: In one aspect, a method for a packet gateway node (PGW) is disclosed. The PGW being adapted for (a) communicating with at least a serving gateway node, SGW, (b) receiving and forwarding downlink data packets to a user entity, UE, and (c) communicating with a mobility management entity, MME. In one embodiment, the method comprises: the PGW, when receiving a downlink user plane data packet destined for the UE on a Packet Data Network, PDN, connection associated with a restarted SGW, determining if the PDN connection has not yet been relocated to a new SGW, and, if so, selecting at least one SGW from a set of SGWs including the restarted SGW or another SGW and transmitting a control plane signal to at least one of the selected SGWs, the control plane signal identifying at least the UE.

摘要: One embodiment of the present disclosure relates to a method implemented by a first gateway node for processing an emergency call from an untrusted non-3GPP access network. The method comprises: receiving an emergency call request initiated from a terminal device over an untrusted non-3GPP based access network; detecting an event of the emergency call depending upon the emergency network access identifier included in the request message; selecting for the terminal device an emergency access point name that identifies an external network providing an emergency call service; and establishing for the terminal device an emergency call session with a second gateway node interfacing with the external network which is identified by the selected emergency access point name. According to an aspect of the present disclosure, there are provided corresponding methods and devices.
