摘要: A wireless device, a network node and methods therein are provided for achieving a seamless transition of a streaming session from enhanced Multimedia Broadcast Multicast Service (eMBMS) in a source cell or area, to unicast in a target cell or area. The method to be performed by a wireless device engaged in a streaming session via eMBMS comprises obtaining an URL of a streaming server providing data for the streaming session from a first network node providing the eMBMS. The method further comprises detecting that a signal quality related to the eMBMS falls below a threshold; and further providing the obtained URL to a second network node in order to induce the second network node to prepare for unicast of the streaming session via a target node. The method further comprises connecting to the target node for continuation of the streaming session.

摘要: A method in a wireless communication device for starting a Circuit Switched FallBack, CSFB, in a wireless communication system is disclosed. The wireless communication system comprises one or more Long-Term Evolution, LTE, networks and one or more 2nd or 3rd Generation, 2G/3G, networks. When the communication device is camping in an LTE network and starts a Circuit Switched, CS, service, the wireless communication device sends a CSFB request to a Mobility Management entity, MME, via an access node in the LTE network and starts a first timer and/or a first counter upon sending the CSFB request. When the first timer and/or the first counter is expired and no response to the CSFB request has been received from the LTE networks, it starts a cell search procedure in the 2G/3G networks and starts the CS service via a target cell selected by the cell search procedure in the 2G/3G networks.

摘要: A method in a user equipment for selecting an access mode for an application in the user equipment. The user equipment operates in a wireless communication environment, and the wireless communication environment comprises at least one cellular network access node and at least one wireless local network access node. The method first checks whether an application is associated with one or more communication parameters. When the application is associated with one or more communication parameters, the method than selects an access mode for the application based on comparing the one or more communication parameters with respective one or more corresponding determined communication parameters. When the application is not associated with the one or more communication parameters, the user equipment selects a multiple access mode for the application.

摘要: A communication device and method therein for obtaining a position of the communication device are disclosed. The communication device operates in a wireless communication environment which comprises wireless communication networks comprising one or more wider range Access Points and Localized Wireless Networks (LWN) comprising one or more LWN Access Points. The communication device determines if it is in an LWN, when it in an LWN, it receives its position from an LWN AP in the LWN. Then it measures and records a first set of Received Signal Strength values of one or more wider range Access Points. When it is not in an LWN, it measures and records a second set of RSS values of the one or more wider range APs, and scales each of the second set of RSS values by a scaling factor calculated for each of the one or more wider range APs based on the first set of RSS values and reference RSS values of the one or more wider range APs. And then the communication device calculates the position based on the scaled RSS values.

摘要: A method in a communication device for providing a location information of the communication device to a Minimization of Driving Tests, MDT, server is disclosed. The communication device operates in a wireless communication environment which comprises multiple networks comprising at least one cellular network and at least one satellite positioning system. The communication device starts an MDT measurement and determines a signal strength received from a satellite in the satellite positioning system by measuring the signal strength at a positioning antenna. When the signal strength received from the satellite is above a threshold, the communication device 110 determines a feasibility of an Assisted Global Position System, AGPS. When the AGPS is feasible, the communication device initiates an AGPS session for obtaining the location information using an acquisition assistance data and sends the location information together with other MDT data to the MDT server.
