摘要： A system for a personal intelligence network provides informational and transactional data. Data distribution servers provide e-mail and other messages of topical interest to a subset of the subscribers. The content may be generated by an On-Line Analytical Processing (OLAP) based channel database system, and the output may also be communicated to individuals via spreadsheet programs data, pager, telephone, mobile phone, fax, personal digital assistants, Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) e-mail and other formats, including a workbook file attachment. Reports generated may enable a subscriber to act upon the content within the report, thereby providing an interactive component to the report. Subscriber actions or inaction to the report and content may be obtained and analyzed, including analysis in connection with the other informational and transactional data.

摘要： Security filters that manage user access to data based on user identification and other data when a user attempts to access information via a query or other mechanisms. Security filters may be implemented to prevent users from viewing or otherwise accessing certain data in a database or other source of information in a reporting or other system. The level of access authorized by a security filter may be based on a user's role, capabilities, or other criteria. For example, a regional manager may have a security filter that allows a user to view data from the user's particular region regardless of the report the user runs. A security filter may include a filter expression, a top level and a bottom level where each component may be further define a user's ability to access certain data.

摘要： An intelligence server for a reporting system is disclosed. The reporting system may include a report initiation module, such as a user engine or calling application, for generating a request for a report. The intelligence server includes a server layer for receiving the generated request and for coordinating a flow of a processing of the received request; an application logic layer which includes business intelligence rules used for generating the report; and an analytical layer, in communication with the user engine and the server layer, for receiving the request to be processed from the server layer, transmitting the processed request to one or more data storage devices, and for extracting data from the data storage devices responsive to the transmitted request. The extracted data is then processed by the applications in the application logic layer to generate the report and the processing is independent of a user interface.

摘要： A system and method for generating revenue from providing pages of voice content when users input a voice code corresponding to that content. Voice codes (“VCodes”) have content stored corresponding thereto and when users view publicly displayed VCodes in proximity to an object, attraction or subject, the users may selectively access the stored content via telephone by calling a central number and entering the VCode or verbally describing the object, attraction or subject, in which case the verbal description is associated with a VCode or collection of VCodes. A fee is collected based on the information retrieved and may be distributed between participants within the voice network access provider system.

Scheduled services are processed in an on-line analytical processing system and output from the OLAP system is then automatically forwarded to one or more subscriber output devices specified for that service. The system manages the operation of the service processing system to increase throughput, increase speed, and improve the administrator control over the processing. The system may maintain dynamic recipient lists that are resolved by system. The system enables administrator control over processing by enabling administrators to view all services and all subscribers of the system, by maintaining an address book containing entries for subscribers of the service and enables a system user to view the contents of the address book, and by scheduling processing of services. The system governs the volume of services being processed, the number of subscribers to a particular service, and the number of output devices to which a service may be broadcast.

摘要： A content provider system for enabling content providers to create voice pages with audio files included for use in a network for voice page delivery through which subscribers request a voice page and a voice page server system delivers the voice page audibly to the subscriber. A content provider selects a voice page into which the audio file is to be incorporated, selects the audio file and the content provider system then transfers the audio file to a voice page server system which generates a voice page with the audio file included using XML-based tags designated for audio files. The audio files are uploaded from a number of user devices including a telephony device, a web-based system and a PDA.
