    摘要: A thermal transfer recording medium includes a sheet-like base member and a hot-melt ink layer containing a colorant and a hot-melt material. The hot-melt ink layer contains a hot-melt material having a melting point Tm of 70.degree. to 90.degree. C., a complex elastic modulus of 10.sup.6 Pa to 10.sup.7 Pa at 100.degree. C., and a pour point Tp of 150.degree. C. or more, the hot-melt ink layer is in an amorphous or microcrystalline state and satisfies condition I/I.sub.0 .ltoreq.0.9 where I is the diffraction peak intensity in a range of 21.3.degree. to 21.5.degree. originated from an ethylene-based crystal and measured by an x-ray diffraction method, and I0 is the halo intensity in a range of 16.degree. to 17.degree. originated from an amorphous part, or the hot-melt ink layer contains a low-melting point crystalline material having a specific acid value and a specific saponification value and 15 to 30 wt % of a specific copolymer resin whose ethylene content is 65 to 80 wt % and a melt index of 60 or less.

    摘要: An ultrasonic transducer includes a piezoelectric polymer film folded as at least two layers and having electrodes on both the surfaces thereof. The ultrasonic transducer is responsive to a signal, applied across electrodes, to produce an ultrasonic wave to be focused at one spot so that it is converted to an electric signal. In this ultrasonic transducer, a groove or through holes are formed on and along the folded area of the piezoelectric polymer film.

    摘要: A field-effect transistor-type semiconductor sensor is provided which comprises first and second semiconductor substrates bonded strongly to each other interposing a silicon oxide film therebetween by the use of a direct-bonding technique. The first semiconductor substrate is formed into an island-shape, and incorporates a source region, a drain region and a gate region. The island-shaped substrate constitutes an ion-sensitive portion, and is immersed in a solution when in use. The second semiconductor substrate has openings in which source and drain electrodes are formed.

    摘要: There is disclosed a polymeric piezoelectric ultrasonic probe using a polymeric piezoelectric member which comprises a polymeric piezoelectric member; a common electrode formed on one surface of the polymeric piezoelectric member; and electrodes for driving provided as opposed to the common electrode with the polymeric piezoelectric member being interposed therebetween, the electrodes for driving being formed on a polymeric thin film.The polymeric piezoelectric ultrasonic probe of the present invention has advantages that not only breaking or short circuit of electrodes shaped in rectangular strips can be prevented, but also it becomes possible to connect lead wires with good reliability. Besides, not only cumbersomeness is registration of electrodes shaped in rectangular strips during lamination of polymeric piezoelectric members can be cancelled, but also acoustic-electrical coupling or cross-talk can be reduced.
