Abstract:
A single-finger and multi-touch gesture determination method is disclosed. The single touch and multi-touch gesture determination method includes steps of: for each of one or more touch points, judging a respective category under a first group to which the touch point belongs, according to an initial position of the touch point; for each of the one or more touch points, judging a respective category under a second group to which the touch point belongs, according to a moving pattern of the touch point, wherein the moving pattern is respectively defined in the judged category under the first group to which the touch point belongs; and determining a gesture represented by the one or more touch points according to the judged categories under the second group respectively to which the one or more touch points belong.
Abstract:
An apparatus and method for examining an organism surface includes a pliable member including a contact layer, a plurality of channels, and a reaction layer, wherein the plurality of channels are disposed between the contact layer and the reaction layer; each of the channels having a size in the range of micrometers and formed of biocompatibility materials, and the contact layer including a plurality of spherical projections having a size in the range of micrometers and formed of biocompatible materials, and the reaction layer including examining molecules and a reaction unit.

Abstract:
A memory controller includes a mixed buffer and an arbiter. The mixed buffer includes at least one single-port buffer and at least one multi-port buffer for managing data flow between a host and a storage device. The arbiter determines an order of access to the mixed buffer among a plurality of masters. The data to be written or read are partitioned into at least two parts, which are then moved to the single-port buffer and the multi-port buffer, respectively.
Abstract:
A single finger gesture determination method is disclosed. The single touch gesture determination method includes steps of detecting one or more trigger signals, determining respective categories under a plurality of gesture groups to which the one or more trigger signals belong according to the one or more trigger signals, and deciding a finger gesture represented by the one or more trigger signals according to the determined respective categories under the plurality of gesture groups.
Abstract:
A moving module of a wafer ion-implanting machine includes a wafer carrier, a moving shaft, a base, a pair of first magnets, a fixture body, and a plurality of second magnets. One end of the wafer carrier is pivotally connected to a wafer tray; and the other end is fixed onto one end of the moving shaft. The base is fixed to the other end of the moving shaft. The moving shaft drives the wafer carrier and the base to move lengthwise. The pair of first magnets is fixed to the base. The fixture body is located between the pair of first magnets. The second magnets are fixed onto the fixture body and one of them forms compelling magnetic force between one of the first magnets. Thereby, the friction generated by contacting any of the first magnets with the fixture body can be prevented, thus increasing the production yield.
Abstract:
A bicycle lock includes a first part and a second part located close to bicycle wheels by two bolts and two respective protection members are connected to the first part and the second part respectively. The protection members cover the heads of the bolts so that the unauthorized person cannot access the bolts to detach the bicycle lock from the bicycle. A lock rod is connected to the first part which is pivotable about the bolt corresponding thereto so as to be inserted into the second part to lock the wheel.
