    摘要: A honeycomb heater includes a honeycomb structure having a periphery, a front end, and a back end, including a plurality of passages which are defined by partition walls and extend in an axial direction of the honeycomb structure, the honeycomb structure being electrically conductive, whereby fluid flows through the passages from the front end to the back end; and a device for applying electric current to the honeycomb structure so as to generate heat; wherein at least one gap for obstructing electric current extends through the partition walls from the back end toward the front end but does not reach the front end so that, upon applying electric current to the honeycomb structure, a front region of the honeycomb structure heats more quickly than a back region of the honeycomb structure thereby a catalyst composition loaded onto the front region is activated earlier. Slit may extend between the front end and the back end. The back end may be depressed so that a front region which is located between the depression and the front end heats more quickly than a back region of the honeycomb structure. A catalytic converter includes: (A) the honeycomb heater; and (B) a catalyst element, which is arranged downstream of the honeycomb heater, including: a monolithic structure including a plurality of passages which are defined by partition walls; and a catalyst composition loaded on at least a part of the partition walls of the monolithic structure, the catalyst composition including: an inorganic oxide resistant to heat; and a catalytically active component, loaded on the inorganic oxide, including an element selected from the group consisting of platinum, palladium, rhodium, and iridium.

The conveyor conveys the sheet material through a blowing region blown by the blower, while sandwiching an end region of the sheet material in a sheet-material width direction perpendicular to a sheet-material conveyance direction in which the sheet material is conveyed by the conveyor.

    摘要: An interlocking mechanism includes an axial member reciprocating in a width direction of arrangement of first and second front doors by linking with an opening/closing operation of a side door. A stop member is provided rotatably and fixed in the width direction to the axial member. A restriction member presses the axial member toward the side door and having a pressing/urging member that urges the stop member in one of rotating directions. A pressing claw presses the stop member in the other of the rotating directions in a state where the second front door and the side door are closed. A restriction claw abuts on the stop member when the first front door is closed in a state where at least one of the side door and the second front door is open. An interlock switch is actuated by an actuator being inserted into the interlock switch.

    摘要: A sheet cutting device includes a cutter including opposed blades to cut a sheet fed along a sheet feed path to the device, a cutter holder holding the cutter and reciprocally movable in a width direction of the sheet perpendicular to a sheet feed direction in which the sheet is fed, and a guide member including a first path to guide the holder in the width direction of the sheet to cut the sheet with the cutter and a second path to guide the holder in the width direction after the sheet is cut. The second path is disposed away from the first path in a thickness direction of the sheet perpendicular to both the sheet feed direction and the width direction of the sheet. When the holder moves along the second path, the holder is retracted away from the sheet feed path in the thickness direction of the sheet.
