    摘要: The invention relates to a liquid crystal display element for displaying images by driving a liquid crystal material, in particular, a liquid crystal composition exhibiting a cholesteric phase and relates to electronic paper utilizing the element. The invention provides a liquid crystal display element having improved display quality achieved by suppressing image sticking and electronic paper utilizing the element. The liquid crystal display element includes a pair of substrate disposed opposite to each other and a liquid crystal layer enclosed between the pair of substrates. Interfaces of the pair of substrates in contact with the liquid crystal layer are formed to have surface roughness of 1.5 nm or less or, more preferably, 0.8 nm or less.

Electronic business cards are stored in a DB server, which is one of storages for a communication program, as well as an electronic business card local file. Thus, even if a PC is a company's PC, for example, the electronic business cards can be viewed by accessing the DB server from another PC or the like outside an office. Further, the electronic business card processing program operates with the communication program as backend, however, the electronic business card processing program may not be installed on a PC in some cases. Even in such a case, the communication program alone can display received electronic business cards that are stored in the communication program local file on the screen of a display.

    摘要: The present invention discloses a composition comprising a mixture containing 100 parts by weight of substantially linear polyphenylene sulfide which is treated with an aqueous solution of an acid or a salt of a strong acid and a weak base and which has not less than 70 mol % of a repeating unit of ##STR1## 0.05 to 5 parts by weight of at least one aminoalkoxysilane compound and, if necessary, 0.01 to 3 parts by weight of a releasing agent, the mixture being kneaded under heating at a temperature higher than the melting point of the polyphenylene sulfide, said composition exhibiting excellent impact strength and weld strength and providing molded product with small amount of flash generated during molding. The invention also discloses a composition which further comprises a fibrous reinforcing material and/or an inorganic powdered or granular filler, according to necessity, as well as disclosing a method of producing said composition.
