摘要： An apparatus for measuring a superior-and-inferior-limb blood-pressure (“BP”) index of a living subject, including an inferior-limb BP measuring device which includes a first inflatable cuff adapted to be wound around an inferior limb of the subject and which measures an inferior-limb BP value of the subject based on a first pulse wave obtained while a first pressure of the first cuff is changed, a superior-limb BP measuring device which includes a second inflatable cuff adapted to be wound around a superior limb of the subject and which measures a superior-limb BP value of the subject based on a second pulse wave obtained while a second pressure of the second cuff is changed, a cuff-pressure changing device which changes the first and second pressures of the first and second cuffs, such that a time when the first pressure being changed becomes equal to an estimated inferior-limb BP value coincides with a time when the second pressure being changed becomes equal to an estimated superior-limb BP value, and an index determining device for determining the BP index of the subject, based on the inferior-limb and superior-limb BP values measured by the inferior-limb and superior-limb BP measuring devices while the first and second pressures of the first and second cuffs are changed by the cuff-pressure changing device.

摘要： Observation samples in a sample solution are held due to absorption or the like on a rear face of a first X-ray transmission film. In a mirror body, while an X-ray emission film and X-ray transmission films are bent to be convex outward due to a pressure difference, an X-ray transmission film is bent to be convex toward the X-ray transmission film side due to gas expansion in a second cavity part. This bending results in widening of a gap between the first and second X-ray transmission films in their center part more compared with a gap between their end parts. However, there is almost no change between the X-ray transmission films.

摘要： A blood pressure information measurement device includes an air bladder wrapped around a central side of a measurement portion for pulse wave measurement and an air bladder wrapped at a peripheral side for blood pressure measurement. The air bladder for blood pressure measurement is increased to a pressure higher than a systolic blood pressure, and a blood pressure is measured. An internal pressure of the air bladder is maintained, a pulse wave is measured in avascularized state, and a feature point needed for calculating an index for determining an arteriosclerosis degree is extracted from the pulse wave. When the feature point is not extracted from the pulse wave, the internal pressure of the air bladder for blood pressure measurement is reduced to a pressure lower than the systolic blood pressure, a pulse wave in non-avascularized state is measured, and a feature point is extracted from the pulse wave.
