    摘要: A filter assembly comprises a filter case having an opening end portion; a filter element inserted into the filter case; a set plate mounted to the opening end portion of the filter case and having an inlet and an outlet of fluid to be filtered; and a seal plate attached to the set plate and fixed to the opening end portion of the filter case by curling up an outer periphery portion thereof together with an edge portion of the opening end portion of the filter case. The set plate is mounted to the filter case with press fitting to ensure the mechanical contact to prevent the leakage of the fluid to be filtered. Thus, the filer assembly can effectively prevent leakage of fluid of high pressure, such as AT-fluid introduced therein.

    摘要: In a power transmitting device, projections are formed on a surface of a main cam that faces an armature. This structure causes the main cam to contact the armature only at distal surfaces of the projections. The area of the distal surfaces of the projections is in a range where the magnetic flux density generated at the distal surfaces of the projections by the electromagnet is saturated. Therefore, reduction of the responsiveness and controllability of the power transmitting device due to magnetization of the main cam is suppressed.

    摘要: A drive force transmission apparatus disposed within a differential carrier and adapted to drivingly couple first and second rotary shafts. The drive force transmission apparatus includes an outer casing coupled to the first rotary shaft, an inner shaft coupled to the second rotary shaft, a frictional clutch which enters a frictionally engaged state upon reception of a thrust force to thereby couple the outer casing and the inner shaft together, and an electromagnetic drive mechanism for generating the thrust force. The electromagnetic drive mechanism includes an electromagnet disposed outside the outer casing, a yoke supporting the electromagnet, the yoke being fixedly supported by the carrier in such a manner that the yoke faces a side wall of the outer casing with a gap formed therebetween, and a thrust force generation mechanism disposed inside the outer casing and adapted to produce the thrust force to be applied to the frictional clutch upon receipt of a magnetic force from the electromagnet via the gap and the side wall of the outer casing. A surface of the yoke and a surface of the side wall of the outer casing which face the gap each have a hardened surface layer.
