摘要: By combining raised image lines having a color the same or similar to that of a substrate to be printed, and lines having a color different from that of the raised image lines, there is provided a latent image printed matter which can be prevented from being counterfeited and falsified and with which false and true can be easily distinguished. By printing lines having a different color from that of the raised image lines, there can be provided a printed matter in which letters, figures, etc. can be visually recognized only when viewed in a particular direction.

摘要: In a spontaneous light-emitting display device operating in an active matrix mode, variations in the threshold voltages of transistors controlling the current flowing to light-emitting elements and variations in the light emission threshold voltages of the light-emitting elements are suppressed, reducing variations in the luminance of the light-emitting elements. Light-detecting elements detect light emitted by the light-emitting elements, and threshold voltages of the transistors are detected by the voltages of nodes of resistors and the light-emitting elements. Further, transistors controlled by respective signals of the light-detecting elements also detect the light emission threshold voltages of the light-emitting elements.

摘要: A polyester film made from two kinds of polyester resins and having a specific DSC (and a specific glass transition point) is provided, (i) which is superior in mechanical property, capable of thermocompression bonding with a metal sheet, despite a high degree of crystallization of the film, reduces quality change of plastic film laminated on the metal sheet even if faced with variation of conditions of thermocompression bonding with the metal sheet, and which is capable of thermocompression bonding even at a relatively low temperature, (ii) which is superior in formability, (iii) which is superior in flavoring property and impact resistance, and which obliterates occurrence of whitening or delamination of the film, or microcracks on the film, even if the film in the metal laminated sheet obtained by thermocompression bonding of the film on the metal sheet or on the surface of a metal can obtained by subjecting the metal laminated sheet to various form processings is crystallized, and (iv) which satisfies productivity at an industrial scale.

摘要: In a color liquid crystal display device, two capacitors are connected in parallel between a pixel signal line and an electrode of a liquid cell, or one of the capacitors is connected therebetween, or none of the capacitors are connected therebetween, in order to selectively set a potential of the electrode of the liquid crystal cell in any of four steps. Therefore, gradation display in four steps can be achieved without a digital-to-analog conversion circuit, so that the cost of the device can be reduced.

摘要: At least two types of preionization systems are provided at a backside of one of a pair of primary electrodes which are disposed in a spaced opposed relation with respect to each other for causing a large area, spatially uniform main discharge in a laser gas therebetween. This improves efficiency and stability in laser oscillations under repeated operations at a high rate of tens to hundreds of shots per second. In addition, without using the laser output power, the preionization timing is controlled such that an optimal preionization timing is realized. The optimal preionization timing is determined on the basis of a minimum discharge starting voltage between the primary electrodes or a minimum required time from the time of applying a high voltage between said first and second primary electrodes until the time the main discharge commences.

摘要: Signal lines for supplying signal currents to respective pixel circuits having light emitting elements are arranged. A signal line driving circuit generates, on a signal line, a signal current corresponding to the image data, by switching bit weighting currents output from bit weighting current source circuits provided for respective bits of the image data, using a switch circuit turned on/off dependent on the corresponding bit. Each current source circuit has a function of correcting the level of the bit weighting current output from itself, based on a reference current of the bit weighting current supplied from a reference current line. Therefore, even when the characteristics of TFTs forming respective current source circuits vary widely, variation in signal currents among the signal lines can be suppressed, and unevenness in emission luminance can be suppressed.

摘要: An imaging apparatus including at least an imaging device having a plurality of photoelectric transfer devices arranged in matrix-shape to detect a light irradiated to each photoelectric transfer device and transfer to electric signal, and imaging means for imaging an image of a photogenic object on a surface of the imaging devices. The imaging means images at least two similar images of the photogenic subject on different area of the surface of the imaging device, and the imaging apparatus further includes electric signal processing means to form one image of photogenic subject from at least two images of photogenic subject. Since a plurality of images of photogenic subject can be formed on the imaging device by a plurality of image formation lenses, a thinner imaging apparatus can be realized.
