    摘要: An IC tag communication relay device is provided with an antenna section, lead lines and input/output unit. The antenna section is equipped with one or more antennas for transmitting and receiving electromagnetic radiation to and from IC tags. The lead lines are connected to each antenna for transmitting electrical signals corresponding to transmitted and received electromagnetic radiation. The input/output unit is arranged outside of the antenna corresponding to each antenna connected to the lead lines.

    摘要: In an RFID system including an RFID tag and an RFID reader for performing wireless communications with the RFID tag, an RFID relay antenna has a first loop antenna for electromagnetic induction coupling with an antenna at the RFID tag, a second loop antenna that is provided apart from the first loop antenna and for electromagnetic induction coupling with an antenna at the RFID reader, and wires for connecting the first loop antenna and the second loop antenna so as to form one closed loop and for conveying an induced current generated at the first and second loop antennas to the second and first loop antennas, respectively.

    摘要: A waveguide type optical switch that can reduce the number of intersections in a matrix optical switch having the configuration of connecting unit optical switches and optical combining devices or optical branching devices to have a connecting function from “multiple inputs to one output” to “one input to multiple outputs”. To reduce the number of intersections in an entire matrix optical switch, an optical combining device of M inputs and one output is divided into (M−1) pieces of unit optical combining elements each having two inputs and one output, which are arranged immediately after (N−1) pieces of respective output ports excluding one piece of the output port closer to the input in the matrix optical switch out of N pieces of the output ports in the optical switch of one input and N outputs.
