When incorporated in silicone compositions, the organosilicon compound acts as a cross-linking agent having well-balanced photopolymerizability and condensation curability.

This composition comprises (A) an organopolysiloxane with an average of at least 0.1 alkenyl groups bonded to silicon atoms within each molecule, (B) an organopolysiloxane with an average of at least 2 hydrogen atoms bonded to silicon atoms within each molecule, (C) a heat-conductive filler, (D) a platinum catalyst, and (E) a methylpolysiloxane with a hydrolyzable group and a vinyl group, as represented by a general formula shown below. 摘要: An organopolysiloxane composition is provided including: (A) an organopolysiloxane with hydroxyl groups at both terminals of the molecular chain; (B) an organosilicon compound represented by the general formula shown below: wherein, R2 represents a hydrogen atom, a phenyl group or a halogenated phenyl group, R3 represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, R4 represents a monovalent hydrocarbon group, X represents a hydrolysable group, Z1 represents —R5—, —R5O— or —R5(CH3)2SiO— (wherein R5 represents a bivalent hydrocarbon group), Z2 represents an oxygen atom or a bivalent hydrocarbon group, m represents 0, 1 or 2, and n represents 0, 1 or 2; (C) a condensation curing catalyst; and (D) a photopolymerization initiator. This composition has two curing mechanisms, namely photopolymerizability and condensation curability, and displays superior adhesiveness, and in particular displays favorable adhesiveness to a substrate immediately following irradiation with ultraviolet light.

摘要: An amino compound having a secondary amino group directly bonded to a phenyl group is modified by silylating the secondary amino group. When the silylated amino compound is compounded in a silicone composition comprising an organopolysiloxane containing at least two lower alkenyl groups, an organohydrogenpolysiloxane, and a platinum base curing catalyst, the composition is improved in flame retardance to the level of UL-94 V-0 without sacrificing the activity of the curing catalyst.

摘要: This invention provides a primer composition comprising (A) a polyorganosiloxane resin containing at least 0.01 mole of hydroxyl groups per 100 g of the resin represented by the average composition formula: (R.sup.1).sub.a SiO.sub.(4-a)/2 wherein each R.sup.1 represents a substituted or unsubstituted monovalent hydrocarbon group, and a is a value of 0.4 to 1.8; (B) an alkoxytitanium or a partially hydrolyzed product thereof; (C) an acid; and (D) a solvent. The primer composition can strongly adhere a condensation type room temperature curable silicone elastomer to the surface of the coated metal formed by applying a fluororesin coating, an acrylic resin coating or the like to a metal.

摘要: An addition reaction curing type silicone rubber composition comprising (A) an alkenyl-containing diorganopolysiloxane, (B) an alkaline earth metal carbonate powder surface treated with a diorganopolysiloxane, (C) an organohydrogenpolysiloxane, and (D) a platinum group metal catalyst has improved storage stability in that it gives off little or no hydrogen gas during storage. The composition has improved adhesion and a good ability to protect electric or electronic parts from corrosion and finds typical use in the sealing of electric or electronic parts.

摘要: When an air bag is prepared by laying a pair of silicone rubber-impregnated and/or coated base fabric pieces one on the other, with the coated surfaces of the pieces inside, and joining peripheral portions of the pieces together to form a bag, an addition reaction curing type silicone rubber composition which cures into a silicone rubber having an elongation at break of at least 1000% is used as a sealer and applied to the peripheral portions of the base fabric pieces, thereby achieving improved adhesion therebetween.
